Quite frankly we’re starved for nice makeup gift sets in Slovenia. It doesn’t really matter whether it is low or high end brand chances are you won’t find anything you would love to give somebody (demanding :silly: ) as present. I was expecting to find more interesting sets in Austria and while their selection was better it was still nothing to brag about. :sigh:

I thought I would have more ideas for those of you who are buying gifts at the last minute, but I’ll be showing you only 2 brands with their selection of Christmas/New Years gift sets – Alessandro and Deborah.

Alessandro always has some kind of set for holidays and this year they have Snowflake set with hand cream and glittery top coat. This is the set that I would give to more reserved/classical type of woman. And to be honest, I’m more exited about hand cream than nail polish – reindeer on the packaging, smell of cinnamon and apples …

Now Crystal punk set of 2 mini nail polishes is something for those of us who are more into the nail polishes. We’re talking about 4 sets with black base nail polish and one top coat with flakies. You can chose between turquoise, orange, blue and green duochrome beauties.

Deborah improved their gift packaging look for this years holidays … at least in my eyes. I can not tell you if the quality is OK, but I’m guessing these smaller pink (Color Parade) sets would be great gift for younger/teenage group. You get 6 eye shadows, 1 face powder, 1 bronzer, 1 blush, 3 glosses, 2 applicators and the mirror.

You have 3 more palette sizes to chose from and two different designs – black one from Quick&Perfect collection and red from Vanity secret.

Which palette or set was your favorites from this years offering?

Lahko rečem samo, da je izbira milo rečeno zelo slaba. Očitno gredo v promet predvsem parfumski kompleti, ker teh je bilo pa malo morje. Še v Avstriji je bila ponudba samo za odtenek boljša. :sigh:

Želela sem vam predstaviti nekaj idej za tiste, ki boste potrebovali darila tik pred zdajci, a neke hude izbire nisem imela + fotografije imam samo od dveh znamk – Alessandro in Deborah. No, ja – zato pa ti dve izgledata luštni. :biggrin:

Alessandro ima ponavadi vedno nekakšen praznični set. Tokrat gre za Snowflake komplet kreme za roke in bleščičastega nadlaka. Darilo, ki bi ga jaz izbrala za bolj umirjeno osebnost … predvidevam, nampreč, da lak ni zeeelo bleščičast. Krema za roke pa ima vonj po cimetu in jabolkih ter jelenčka na embalaži. :wub:

Crystal punk set dveh minije pa je idealen za tiste, ki ljubimo bolj dinamične manikure. V kompletu dobite črno podlago in nadlak z duochrome krpicami. Krpice so na voljo v štirih odtenkih: turkiznem, oranžnem, zelenem in modrem.

Deborah ima meni osebno lepšo embalažo kot lani. Predvsem Color Parade setki izgledajo kot luštno darilce za mlajše oz. najstnice. Ne vem kakšna je kvaliteta, vendar dobite v vsakem setu 6 senčil za oči, 1 puder v kamnu. bronzre, rdečilo. 3 glose, 2 aplikatorja, embalaža pa ima tudi ogledalo

Na voljo so še 3 velikosti palet v dveh različnih dizajnih – črni iz Quick&Perfect kolekcije ter rdeči Vanity Secret.
