Wow – I fell for sand finish nail polishes and lipsticks that are not matte? I guess Illamasqua’s Glamore colllection is special.  :biggrin:

I’m with them on “vivacious lipsticks and shimmering nail polishes”, but I already have “the brows that do all the talking” and I hate those from the bottom of my heart. :silly:

Let’s start with the nail polishes. I don’t think Illamasqua labeled these as liquid/crystal sand finish nail polishes, but they look exactly like those to me. Gritty surface, quick to dry and full of yummy glitter. And the application – smooth, good coverage after first coat, they dry fast even when somebody we won’t name, puts second coat right after the first one. :whistle: Blame it on hormones, but I put top coat on the pinkie and ring finger, then remembered that finish if possibly the point here and top coat should be left out. So you get the chance to see how it looks in gritty and glossy state. I guess this formula can go either way, but as Illamasqua only mentions shimmer, sand finish is just the bonus. :cute:

I received Trilliant and Fire Rose nail polishes from Illamasqua Glamore to play with. Both formulas look identical to me and above description goes for both shades. Trilliant is beige-silver bottle of sparkle and shine (Illamasqua classifies it as champagne) and Fire Rose in rose-silver combination. I really adored how base is filled with color and shimmer and then you get larger glitter particles that are very well suspended in base as a bonus.

My first thought when I read the accompanying letter, “They went with satin finish?” I would say that satin or semi matte finish is my favorite, but for some reason, majority of satin formulas just gets butchered up so I prefer either matte or more “moisturizing” lipsticks. I really don’t want to jinx this formula and rave about it from the matte lipstick loving bottom of my heart, but so far Illamasqua’s satin finish is working for me. It is long-wearing, staining and rich in color formula that still feels “glossy” on the lips. Is more forgiving on my chafed lips than matte formula. :lips: But we will see how it performs in the future.

Da so mi izdelki všeč, sem vedela že, ko sem odprla paket. Kar me je pa presenetilo, da se je pojavil močan nagon takoj nositi oba laka kot peščenkota ter da sta mi šminki s satenastim finišem bolj všeč kot moje drage mat ljubice. Ja, Illamasqua Glamore je res posebna kolekcija. :biggrin:

Po prebranem sodeč, sem na istem vlaku, ko omenjajo živahne šminke in lesketajoče se lake, košate obrvi jim pa kar pustim … te že imam in jih sovražim iz dna srca. :silly:

Začnimo z lakoma. Če se ne motim, jih pri Illamasqui niso klasificirali kot peščenkote, vendar pa meni izgledajo točno tako. Seveda dobimo običajen bleščičast lak, če dodamo nadlak. In ker sem bila med swatchanjem malo raztresena, je sredinec prikazan brez nadlaka ostala dva pa z nadlakom, namesto da bi imela eno fotografijo z nadlakom, drugo pa brez.

Nanos je krasen – čopič kar brzi po nohtu, ampak to velja za dosti Illamasquinih lakov. Nenamerno sem za vas preizkusila tudi kaj se zgodi, če naneseš drugo plast takoj za prvo – ni bilo težav, ker se plasti kar hitro sušijo. Prekrivnost super – že s prvo plastjo dobimo skoraj polno prekrivno plast.

V oceno smo dobili Trilliant in Fire Rose laka za nohte iz Illamasqua Glamore kolekcije. Meni se zdita formuli praktično enaki, le odtenka sta drugačna. Trilliant se blešči v bež-srebrni (Illamasqua pravi, da gre za barvo šampanjca), Fire Rose pa v roza-srebrnem siju. Zelo me je pritegnila dovršena kombinacija prekrivne osnove in srebrnih bleščic, ki so zelo fino suspendirane v bazi. S takšnimi laki je pač malo dela – namažeš in že so bleščice lepo razporejene.

Vedno, ko vidim, da se je proizvajalec odločil za satenast finiš pri šminkah, kar malo trznem. V bistvu bi to bil moj idealen finiš, če jim ne bi uspelo vedno znova narediti nekega slabega kompromisa. Vendar se da narediti dobro formulo in za enkrat, Illamasquini dobro kaže. Ne bom je prehitro hvalila, ker je enostavno ne uporabljam še zadosti dolgo, pa tudi ne želim priklicati “satenstega” prekletstva nad njo. :silly: Kar je meni najpomembneje – gre za zelo dolgotrajno barvo. Tudi, ko šminke ni več, ostane na ustnicah “stain”. Seveda ne škodi, da je barva bogata in niso varčevali na pigmentu, vendar pa to velja za vse Illamasquine šminke, ki jih imam. Formula je veliko bolj prizanesljiva do mojih poškodovanih ustnic. Če se bosta šminki tako dobro obnesli kot v zadnjih dneh, potem se mojim mat odtenkom slabo piše. :zip:
