Make Up Factory Fall Winter 2012 collection (swatches)

Make Up Factory is a German drugstore brand which for some reason doesn’t get enough attention (if you ask me). The quality of their products is very good. My favorites are their eye shadow quads and I also love their blushes and lipsticks. The truth is the brand is not cheap. I’d position them in the upper middle price range. For example: the eye shadow quads are around 17eur. I am not going to state my opinion if this is a good / fair price or not. This is a subjective thing. I am just going to tell you why I love this brand. Because of the quality. There is not a lot of brands in our drugstores where I can with confidence say that their eye shadows are good quality, because most of the times it depends on the shade. But with Make Up Factory I’ve not been disappointed (yet). If a friend asks me for opinion, which eye shadows do I recommend from the drugstore, my answer is always the same: “Go check out the Make Up Factory display.” Most of them had never even heard of Make Up Factory before and I wonder why is that. Maybe because the brand isn’t advertised a lot. I really do not know. Moving on to the fall winter collection …

I spotted Make Up Factory’s new collection for Fall and Winter 2012 a couple of days ago. There’s a blusher, an eyeshadow quad, two single eye shadows, two eye pencils, two nail polishes, a illuminating skin perfector, an eye shadow base, two brushes and two lipsticks in the collection. The color that dominates is definitely purple.

Eye shadow quad in No. 47 is a mixture of four purples. There’s a frosty light pink shade, a lavender shade with a blue (or maybe even turquoise) sheen, a light purple and a deep purple. The name of the shades are Velvet Purple, Intense Lavender, Pastel Orchid and Mystic Violet.

Single eye shadow No. 15 Havana Brown is a very interesting and quite unique shade. I would describe it as a taupe shade with purple sheen.

The eye shadows are smooth and nicely pigmented. It is a dream to use them. If you are a purple lover I suggest you go check out this eye shadow quad. You are going to love it!

Here’s a make up look I did using the eye shadow quad. And yes, the eye brows are dark purple. You wonder why? I wonder why not?

Vendar me je prispevek pritegnil in si stojalo naslednjič vsekakor pobliže pogledam. :thumb: In ja, look je čudovit, vijolična ti zelo pristoji.

jaz sem za bolj nevtralne odtenke in me je pritegnilo rjavo/sivo senčilo, ga moram v živo pogledat

  3. Havana Brown, Havana Brown, Havana Brown, Havana Brown … I adore that eyeshadow.
MUF is company with good standing in my book, but it lacks “little something extra” to make me buy more things from them.
