A 44-year-old woman living in a pocket-sized country in Europe called Slovenia doesn\u2019t sound that bad, right? The problem is you have to add stubborn, bossy, and doesn\u2019t mind her own business to the mix. :P<\/p>\n
I love honesty but had to stop using the word after every single dishonest blogger out there started using it as their shield. So scrape that one. I am a dragon-lady who is not afraid to share her thoughts.<\/p>\n
Don\u2019t believe in bashing and trashing, but as somebody who tried lots of things, I can definitively do a meaningful comparison.<\/p>\n
And after 20 years of studying cosmetics ingredients (thank you for that extra work my once upon a time super sensitive skin), I can share a word or two about that too.<\/p>\n
Private life<\/h3>\n
If you asked me about my life a few years ago, I would tell you that my job in family business + on-line marketing keeps me insanely busy. Today, that title goes to my 10-year-old daughter, who makes sure that not only my waking ours are busy, but night time looks like something from nut house too. :P<\/p>\n
Hoarder?<\/h3>\n
In my case, curiosity did not kill the cat but was a major part of my obsession with trying out tons of similar products so I can see the difference. As I do not have many bad habits and I share my findings with our readers, I do not feel guilty (much) for that one tiny slip.<\/p>\n
Holy grail makeup<\/h3>\n
My holy grails are mat lipstick that does not dry my lips out, easy to blend mat eyeshadow, perfectly formulated and color combined face and eye palettes, interesting nail polishes that do not chip quickly, and perfect very light-toned and feeling foundations for my sensitive\/dehydrated\/normal-oily skin.<\/p>\n
Make-up is a lifesaver in my book when I need to hide bags under my eyes or volcanoes growing on my face, but I do not see it as something I would die if I went out without. And you will see me without makeup quite a lot \u2013 I will not feel bad about it, how I\u2019ll look is another thing. :D<\/p>\n
Skincare preferences<\/h3>\n
Due to my problems with hormonal imbalances, my skin can be described only with one word \u2013 wacky.<\/p>\n
I belong to a group of people with very sensitive skin, normal to oily type, but pretty much always dehydrated.<\/p>\n
The fewer ingredients the product has, the more I like it. I should probably mention that I am a little bit of an ingredient snob. If INCI shows some of the ingredients I hate, there is almost no possibility of me testing it.<\/p>\n
Alcohol is not on the \u201cblacklist\u201d, but I still prefer if the product contains very little of it unless formulation calls for it or is hard to skip (SPF, salicylic acid \u2026).<\/p>\n
Do I even have a style?<\/h3>\n
My style could be described as eclectic, boring, and comfy. :D<\/p>\n
I prefer clothes from natural materials and dyed in quality way. If you combine that with my XL size and you land in the \u201cyou buy what you get\u201d universe. My favorite brands are the Gerry Weber group (Taifun, Samoon), s.Oliver, Lebek \u2026 I know, I know \u2013 grandma style. :P<\n\n\n\n
Living on a bigfoot<\/h3>\n
To my great misfortune, my foot stopped growing at size 42,5\/43 (US women 11) in a wide model. Can you think worse fate for somebody who thing shoes are it a piece that makes or breaks the outfit?<\/p>\n
Haircare<\/h3>\n
By now you know me really well, so it will not surprise you to learn, that my hair is no exception to the rule and is making most of my days-long battle to make it look at least slightly more presentable. :P<\/p>\n
Lots and lots of soft and unruly hairs, that grow faster than the weed. Doesn\u2019t sound terrible right? Well \u2013 add to the mix almost completely grayed out hair with a high level of dehydration and you will slowly get the idea why am I campaigning for a less nesty look on daily basis. m.<\/p>\n
The only thing I can say so far about my hair is the sad fact that they have a very expensive taste \u2026 40 USD shampoo bottle expensive. :P<\/p>\n\n\n\n
