Maestra suggested I use felt and stronger nail polish remover for easier removal.<\/p>\n<p>But I had to go to the other part of town to buy felt and then cut it up to smaller peaces &#8230; and I was just to lazy. <!-- :blush: --><\/p>\n<p>Glitter polish was already on my tips and in dire need of being removed, so I started to look around the apartment to see if I could use something else instead of the recommended felt. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ideal Protect dye-trapping cloths<\/span> caught my eye.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.parokeets.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/Ideal_Protect_removing_glitter_polishes_01.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-16062\" title=\"Ideal Protect - Removing glitter polishes\" src=\"https:\/\/www.parokeets.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/Ideal_Protect_removing_glitter_polishes_01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"330\" height=\"430\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.parokeets.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/Ideal_Protect_removing_glitter_polishes_01.jpg 330w, https:\/\/www.parokeets.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/Ideal_Protect_removing_glitter_polishes_01-77x100.jpg 77w, https:\/\/www.parokeets.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/Ideal_Protect_removing_glitter_polishes_01-322x420.jpg 322w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 330px) 100vw, 330px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After seeing the end result, my face looked something like this &#8211; <!-- :w00t: --> . :D<\/p>\n<p>I just hold cloth soaked with nail polish remover pressed on my nail for a few seconds\u00a0 and then gently remove all the glitter.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the time I use <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ebelin nail polish with biotin and argan oil<\/span> (DM brand) for problematic polishes. Those of you who don&#8217;t have problems with acetone removers, try those instead &#8211; you&#8217;ll get even better results. Unfortunately my cuticles hate acetone.<\/p>\n<p>It didn&#8217;t take long to find out that they work great for removing excess polish from image plates. And with no lints!<\/p>\n<p>You can also us already used color catchers. I like them even better &#8211; they don&#8217;t have the unpleasant smell of the new ones and they more soft. But I recommend only the ones that didn&#8217;t pick up too much color &#8211; like the last one in the bellow photo.
