Our first birthdayPrvi rojstni dan

Today is very special day for us. On the last 4th of January we published our first post. That means today is our blogs first birthday. :w00t:

I must admit I’m quite sentimental about it. Memories are rushing through my mind: last New Years eve we stayed up till 4am to get the blog running, all your comment that made me laugh and gave me will and energy to write new posts …

I’m just reviewing one year statistics and I get warm felling. We wanted to share our love towards make-up and few 100.000 page views, few 100 registered readers, almost 400 posts and few thousand comments make me believe we achieved our goal.

In the name of the whole Parokeets crew, I would like to thank our readers for all the comments, constructive criticisms and all the support you kindly offered to us. You gave us a lot, so we decided to dedicate whole month of January to birthday gifts … from us to you. :cool:

Like I already hinted – first condition is that you have to follow us in WordPress or with Google Friend Connect. This is the only rule that will always apply. Rest of the rules will be revealed for each game separately … or maybe not and gift will be total surprise. :angel:

And as is appropriate – I chose totally non-typical manicure for me on our birthday – Essence Metal Babe holographic polish. :silly:

Danes je za nas prav poseben dan. Mineva namreč že eno leto od objave prvega posta na našem blogu. :w00t:

Priznam, da sem danes čisto sentimentalna. Spominjam se lanskega Silvestra, ko smo postavljali blog do četrte ure zjutraj, vaših komentarjev in spodbudnih besed skozi leto, ki so mi dajali voljo in zagon za nadaljnje pisanje postov …

Ravno gledam enoletno statistiko mi je kar toplo pri srcu. Z vami smo želele deliti našo ljubezen do make-upa in nekaj 100.000 ogledov strani, nekaj 100 registriranih bralcev, skoraj 400 postov ter nekaj tisoč komentarjev mi pravi, da smo dosegle svoj cilj.

V imenu vseh Parokeetk se zahvaljujem našim bralcem za podporo, komentarje, pripombe in vse konstruktivne kritike. Dali ste nam zelo veliko, zato smo se odločile, da bo cel januar posvečen rojstno-dnevnim darilom … od nas vam. :cool:

Kot sem vam že namignila, je predpogoj za sodelovanje v igrivem januarju prijava v WordPressu oz. v Google Friend Connect vmesniku. To je tudi edino generalno pravilo, ostala boste zvedeli sproti … ali pa tudi ne in bo darilo popolno presenečenje. :angel:

In kot se za rojstni dan spodobi, sem se odločila za zame neznačilno manikuro. Uporabila sem namreč Essence Metal Babe lak. :silly:

Barve so malo čudne, ker je fotografija nastala zgodaj zjutraj v rumenem sončnem vzhodu. Sonček najlepše prikaže holo efekt, vendar je sredi zime skoraj nemogoče uloviti sončne žarke, tako da vzamem kar dobim. :silly:
