Emerald Sparkle, oh Emerald Sparkle, you’re finally here with me! :wub: I’ll write the whole story on how long I’ve been waiting for it and how it finally found me, in another post. :wink: Today, I just wanted to show you some similarities and differences between China Glaze – Emerald Sparkle and NYX – Las Vegas (the green version).
After one coat, the polishes couldn’t be more different. Emerald Sparkle looks similar to bottle color, but Las Vegas is a yellowish-watery version of green with hints of shimmer. Not a very pretty picture to look at. :unsure:
Emerald Sparkle has a rough finish and Las Vegas has a smooth finish.
Emerald Sparkle needed 2 coats to be totally opaque, while Las Vegas needed three coats. At the end the polishes do look similar. At least the base color seems to be similar on both, but the main difference is the glitter/shimmer. Emerald Sparkle has square shaped glitter in it and there is a lot of glitter there, while Las Vegas has smaller shimmer.
Both shades are beautiful. I mean, I can’t decide which one I prefer. Yes, Emerald Sparkle has a special place in my heart and it’s become one of my “Precious” polishes. But Las Vegas is also a real beauty and it’s easier to remove. :wink:

Emerald Sparkle, o Emerald Sparkle, končno si le pri meni! :wub: Celotno zgodbo, koliko časa sem čakala nanj in kako je končno le našel do mene, bom napisala v posebnem prispevku. :wink: V tem prispevki bi rada pokazala podobnosti in razlike med na prvi pogled podobnima odtenkoma China Glaze – Emerald Sparkle in NYX – Las Vegas (zelena verzija).
Po prvem nanosu sta si odtenka skoraj kot noč in dan različna. Emerald Sparkle je skoraj takšen kot v steklenički, Las Vegas pa ena rumenkasto-vodena verzija zelene z malo šimra. Nič kaj prijeten pogled. :unsure:
Emerald Sparkle ima na otip rahlo hrapav finiš, medtem ko je površina nohta premazanega z Las Vegas odtenkom popolnoma gladka.
Emerald Sparkle je potreboval za popolno prekrivnost 2 plasti, medtem ko je Las Vegas potreboval tri. Končni izgled je na prvi pogled precej podoben. Osnovni barvi sta si zelo blizu. Velika razlika pa je v bleščicah. Pravzaprav bi rekla, da je v odtenku Las Vegas šimer, v Emerald Sparkle pa kvadrataste bleščice.
Oba odtenka sta izredno lepa in posrečena. Nikakor se ne bi mogla odločiti, kateri mi je bolj všeč. Sigurno ima Emerald Sparkle prav posebno mesto v mojem srčku in je že eden od “Precious” lakov, a vseeno… Las Vegas je prav tako pravi lepotec in še lažje ga je odstraniti. :wink:

:stars: I had no idea there was a dupe for Emerald Sparkle. Unless your a nail fanatic (uh, not me!) you could just buy one. Of course I have both. It’s a gorgeous polish.

Emerald sparkle je res krasen lakec :wub: (če ne štejemo odstranjevanja :roll: ) Las Vegas pa tud super izgleda :silly:
