As soon as I saw the new green polishes by Avon in person, I knew they are going to be perfect for a Ombre Manicure which I wanted to try for a long long time. I sat down and began to mix colors … one after another. Here’s what I ended with.
I started with the lightest shade called Peppermint Leaf and applied it in one coat on both of my pinkies. Then I started to mix … and added drop by drop the Green With Envy to the Peppermint Leaf until I was satisfied with each shade.
I was quite happy with the end result. Unfortunately these polishes chipped on me very fast. Too fast. I wasn’t happy about that. :hmm:
Have you tried the Ombre Manicure yet?
Kakor hitro sem v živo zagledala nova zelena laka za nohte znamke Avon, sem vedela, da bosta perfektna za Ombre manikuro, katero sem želela preizkusiti že dalj časa. Zavihala sem rokave in začela mešati odtenke … enega za drugim. Tole je nastalo.
Začela sem s svetlejšim odtenkom Peppermint Leaf in ga nanesla na mezinčka v enem sloju. Nato pa sem začela mešati … in dodajala kapljico po kapljico temnejšega odtenka z imenom Green With Envy odtenku Peppermint Leaf, dokler z namešanim odtenkom nisem bila zadovoljna.
S končnim rezultatom sem bila kar zadovoljna. Žal pa se je manikura kar hitro okrušila. Prehitro, kar me vsekakor ni razveselilo. :hmm:
Ali ste že preizkusili Ombre manikuro?
Maestra, imaš tudi Avonovega Olive Green? Se ti laki še dajo sploh dobiti preko avonovega kataloga ali jih menjajo?
Pogledala on-line katalog in sta ta dva odtenka še noter. :yes: Olive green nimam (v katalogu ga zdaj ne najdem) in tudi nisem prepričana, da je lak s tem imenom pri nas sploh bil na voljo. :undecided: :yes:
Šment! Sem bila prepričana, da ga imaš in sem te hotela razveseliti z novico da je 100% dupe od RBL Orbis Non Sufficit. A ma genau dupe! Sem našla včeraj po naključju prispevek. :) Čeprav mi MUF 123 čist zadošča, ampak vseeno. :yes:

V bistvu je šlo zelo hitro. :yes: Tudi sama sem mislila, da bo dolgo trajalo, a sem bila zelo hitro gotova. Res. In še na vseh nohtih je le ena plast. :wink:

:happy: Love this manicure! I haven’t used an Avon polish in years. They always chipped fast on me. I’ve never tried this type of manicure. I love how it looks. Especially with my favorite shade of nail polish.
