I can still remember how much I disliked Nubar Rich Berry the first time I tried it on. I was with friends in coffee shop, and I told them I hated the shade and bubbling in this nail polish.

After a long time I decided to give this polish another try … and I loved it. :wub:

I could not come with name for this shade – but Saša remembered the perfect one – scarlet. Polish is loaded with cool violet and red shimmer – so double whammy when taking photos.

I tried to capture the realistic shade in every place I could think of. Here is one of them: :silly:

After a long search I found the right exposure:

Minor problem was narrow brush, but I managed to tame it, so application went on without the hitch. I liked the rubberized cap – grip is much better this way. It may not be pretty to some, but it’s functional. It’s big 3 free, so the smell is not as bad as with classical polishes. I paid 6,50$ (postage is not included) on Ebay.

I used two coats of Rich Berry, with no topcoat over it.

It may look like I have two polishes on – but I assure you – it’s Nubar Rich Berry on all of them. If a little bit of sunshine fell on polish it became impossible to take photo of. Index and middle finger are still hiding away in shadow, while ring and pinky are enjoying on the sun. :biggrin:

Še zelo živo se spominjam kako sem si prvič v Zvezdi nanesla, takrat še novi lakec, Nubar Rich Berry. Samo nakremžila sem se in prijateljicam rekla, da tole že ni zame – grd odtenek, pa še mehurčki se delajo.

Danes sem ga po dolgem času potegnila iz predala in mu dala še eno priložnost.  In … očarana sem. :wub:

Ne me vprašati kakšne barve je – nekaj med vijolično in roza.  :cool:  Vsebuje veliko hladno vijoličnega ter rdečega šimra, tako da je bilo fotografiranje dvojno oteženo … če ni bil preveč roza, je bil pa rdeč.

Pravo svetlobo sem lovila celo v travi:

Nazadnje sem le ujela skoraj čisto pravi odtenek.

Z nanosom nisem imela večjih težav. Na začetku me je sicer malo motil ožji čopič, vendar sem se ga hitro navadila. Pokrovček mi je bil kar všeč, ker rebrasta plastika omogoča dober oprijem – mogoče komu ni lep, a je funkcionalen. Velik plus za Nubar lake je, da so brez treh zlobcev (kot pravi Maestra DBPju, toluenu in formaldehidu). :silly:  Posledično ne smrdijo tako zelo kot klasični laki. Za lak sem na Ebayu odštela 6,50$ … brez poštnine.

Čeprav izgleda skoraj kot da imam na nohtih dva različna laka, je na vseh Nubar Rich Berry. Takoj, ko ga je obsijalo malo sonca, je bilo nemogoče ujeti v objektiv ta čudovit berry odtenek. Kazalec in sredinec se še sramežljivo skrivata v senci, medtem ko prstanec in mezinec uživata na soncu. :biggrin:
