Happy New Year 2010!

For me, 2009 was a very good year and I’m very thankful for it! Thank you all, who made 2009 even better for me. :rose: I wish 2010 would be at least as good as the 2009 was. :whistle:

I also wish, that there would be no hunger, that the balance would rule, that the violence would disappear, that everyone would love each other, that the happiness and joy would rule the world … Oh, I have lots of wishes. All utopian wishes … Nevertheless, hope dies last!

If I’m not mistaken, you all would like to see, what my new year’s eve manicure was. Here it is in its whole glitter blue glory …

Tons of hexagonal multicolored glitter in a clear base. That’s Jessica – Starlet.

Power Dressing is probably the most beautiful royal blue with creme jelly finish in my stash. I love it! The jelly consistency makes it a bit streaky to apply, but with three coats it should look perfect. There are only two coats shown in the pictures below. I knew from the start, that I’m going to apply glitter on top of Power Dressing, so I didn’t need flawless application for the base.

In low light the Power Dressing looks like navy blue, but it never looks almost black, except of course in total darkness. :biggrin:

Power Dressing is from Ciate’s new Autumn/Winter 2009 collection. I love the whole collection, but I’ll write more about it in one of my next posts.

“Srečno in zdravo 2010!”

Zame je bilo 2009 lepo leto. In hvaležna sem zanj. Prav tako hvala vsem, ki ste mi zdaj že staro leto tako ali drugače polepšali.  :rose: Želim si, da bi bilo 2010 vsaj tako dobro leto. :whistle:

V novem letu si prav tako želim, da bi bilo za vse dovolj hrane, da bi vladalo ravnovesje, da ne bi bilo nasilja, da bi se vsi imeli radi, da bi svetu vladala sreča in radost … Ah, veliko reči si želim … Same utopične želje … A vseeno, upanje zamre zadnje!

Verjetno vas zanima, s kakšno manikuro sem stopila v 2010 … Odgovor je bleščeče moder. :biggrin:

Šestkotne raznobarvne bleščice v prozorni osnovi. To je Jessica – Starlet.

Power Dressing je verjetno najlepša modra v moji zbirki. Prava kraljevsko modra s krem “jelly” finišem. Zaradi “jelly” finiša je nanos rahlo progast. Verjetno izgleda najlepše s tremi plastmi. Na fotografijah spodaj sta le dve plasti. Za tri plasti nisem imela časa. V bistvu pa sem že v naprej načrtovala dodatek bleščic, ki pa prekrijejo večino nepravilnosti.

V slabši osvetlitvi se Power Dressing prelevi v “navy blue”, a nikoli (razen v temi) ne izgleda skoraj črna.

Odtenek Power Dressing je iz nove kolekcije za jesen in zimo 2009. Celotna kolekcija me je navdušila, a o tem v enem od prihajajočih prispevkov. Vsekakor je zame znamka Ciate odkritje leta 2009. Popolnoma me je prevzela …
