I’m sure you already know that Catrice has a new and totally awesome line of polishes. :w00t: They have put a lot of trendy shades like mint and taupe shades in their new line.

Today I’d like to show you a comparison between two of the Catrice taupe shades and two of the probably most wanted taupe shades ever.

Metro Chic and From Dusk To Dawn are very close, but not dupes. Metro Chic is a little bit more grey, while From Dusk To Dawn is a bit more on the brown side.

Lost In Mud is a bit lighter than You Don’t Know Jacques and maybe more grey, but not by much.

Catrice Ultimate Nail Lacquers are really amazing. They have some great colors. The brush is flat but not wide, which is great. The application is fine. A bit on the thick side but nothing to be worried about. All were applied in two coats in the pictures above.

The price 2,5€ for 10ml is also a good deal. If you can get them, don’t wait … run! :biggrin:

Prepričana sem, da že vsi veste, da ima Catrice popolnoma prenovljeno linijo lakov za nohte. Nova linija se imenuje Ultimate Nail Lacquer in vsebuje kar nekaj modnih odtenkov, med drugim tudi rjavosive (“taupe”) in mint odtenke. :w00t:

Danes vam bom pokazala primerjavo med dvema Catrice rjavosivima odtenkoma in dvema verjetno najbolj opevanima “taupe” odtenkoma.

Metro Chic in From Dusk To Dawn sta si zelo podobna, vendar nista identična. Metro Chic je malenkost bolj siv, medtem ko je From Dusk To Dawn bolj na rjavi strani.

Lost In Mud je malenkost svetlejši od You Don’t Know Jacques in morda malenkost bolj siv, vendar ne veliko.

Linija Catrice Ultimate Nail Lacquer je resnično posrečena. Vsebuje kar nekaj čudovitih odtenkov. Čopič je sploščen, vendar ni širok, kar je super. Nanos je neproblematičen. Konsistenca je malenkost gostejša, vendar ne predstavlja težav. Vsaj meni jih ni. Vsi zgoraj opisani odtenki so bili naneseni v dveh plasteh.

Cena je ugodna, 2,5€ za 10ml. Če jih lahko dobite, ne čakajte … bežite po njih! :biggrin:

  1. Catrice just released (October 2011) a new color called “Grey’s Kelly” and this is a dead-on dupe of Metro Chic. It’s more purple and less brown than from “From Dusk to Dawn” (this latter incidentally was reformulated to resemble now Paradoxal and not Particuliere — of course the name didn’t change — Argh! I hate it when Catrice does that)…
