China Glaze Watermelon Rind was one of the last polishes I bought on Trans Design before the shipping went up . RIP TD. :bow:

I can only say that this was love at first sight. Perfect blue-green with fantastic shimmer. Most of the time it looks more green than blue on me. But if the light is stronger (like the sunshine we almost never see this May) it turns more blue-green.

I used two layers (except on middle finger where I added the third one) + top coat. I like this polish best with three layers. My polish had quite runny formula so application was not peace of cake, but you have to forgive such a minor inconvenience, when you get shade like this on your nails.

I took the above photo on the second day, but since I loved the polish a lot, it lasted two more days. So I added one coat of Essie Matte About You to spice it up. :wub:

Ahhh – what a beauty. :love:China Glaze Watermelon Rind je bil eden izmed trojice lakov, ki sem jih dobila v zadnjem paketu iz Trans Designa, preden je poštnina drastično poskočila. RIP Trans Design. :bow:

Lahko rečem samo, da je šlo za ljubezen na prvi pogled. Popolna modro zelena barva s prekrasnim šimrom. Na meni večino časa prevladuje zelen podton, le na direktnem soncu , ko modri šimer res zaživi, pride do izraza bolj moder podton. Na fotografiji sta dve plasti (razen na sredincu, ker sem nanesla še tretjo) in nadlak. Se mi zdi, da je tretja plast kar potrebna pri temu odtenku. Moj lak ima precej tekočo formulo, tako da sem se kar lovila pri nanosu, vendar prečudovita barva odtehta vse.

Zgornja fotografija je bila posneta drugi dan po nanosu. Ker pa se je lak obdržal na nohtih še dva dneva, sem mu za popestritev dodala še eno plast Essie Matte About You. :wub:
