Review and swatches: Manhattan Freaky Friday LEOpis in ocena: Manhattan Freaky Friday LE

On my last trip to Austria I spotted Manhattan’s new limited edition called  – Freaky Friday. I bought two polishes and quattro eyeshadow palette.

I chose those two polishes because they looked like lively shades … just what I wanted in the beginning of spring.

34K is cute orange shade. I had to watch out to have a lot of polish on brush at all times to insure even application, but had no problem with it otherwise. 2 layers + top coat.

54K is pink polish with a lot of red in it. I like pink-red combos … I guess those are the only pinkish shades that I actually wear. Swatch is too pink – imagine a little bit more red color.I used two coats + top coat.

I did try to stamp with both shades, but they were very poorly seen one over the other. I’ll have to choose lighter colors as a base.

Only other thing that I bought from this limited edition is Hot As Fire Quattro Eyeshadow Palette which consists of four shades: 34L, 93N, 91K and 99T.

Orange shade is only one with larger shimmer while others are more finely milled. All swatches were made over the base.

As you can see the lightest shade is almost the same color as my skin so it’s practically invisible on me. :biggrin:

All in all I liked the palette. It is not heavily pigmented but you get very decent color payoff if you use good base and pat the eyeshadow on. I love the satin feel of these eyeshadows. :love:

Purple eyeshadows looked really crumbly and more appropriate for cool toned individuals so I did not pick that one up.

Price: 3,95 EUR for 11ml nail polish and 5,95 EUR for mini eyeshadow palette.

EDIT: I tried out purple palette in our Muller and the formula was as silky as in my palette. :thumb: Ob prejšnjem obisku Avstrije sem opazila novo Manhattnovo omejeno kolekcijo imenovano Freaky Friday. Kupila sem dva laka za nohte ter četvorček senčk.

Izbrala sem dva odtenka, ki sta me pritegnila zaradi živahnih odtenkov … kot naročeno za začetek pomladi.

34K je zelo lušten oranžen odtenek. Edini minus je precej gosta formula, zato sem morala paziti da sem vedno imela dovolj laka na čopiču, če sem želela doseči enakomeren nanos.  2 plasti + nadlak.

54K je roza odtenek s precej rdeče barve. Ugotavljam, da so mi roza-rdeče kombinacije celo všeč in jih tudi dejansko nosim. Na fotografiji se je rdeč podton čisto skril, tako da si ga boste morale predstavljati. :blush: Uporabila sem 2 plati + nadlak.

Z obema odtenkoma sem poizkusila štempljati a sta bila eden na drugem zelo slabo vidna … očitno bi ju morala testirati na svetlejši podlagi.

Edini izdelek, ki me je poleg lakov še pritegnil iz te LE je Hot As Fire Quattro Eyeshadow Palette, ki jo sestavljajo 4 senčila: 34L, 93N, 91K in 99T.

Oranžna senčka je edina, ki vsebuje večji šimer, ostale so bolj fino mlete. Swatcha sta narejena čez bazo.

Kot lahko vidite je najsvetlejši odtenek skoraj identičen barvi moje kože, tako da je na meni praktično neviden. :biggrin:

Všečna paletka, ki ni izredno pigmetirana, a je ob uporabi dobre baze in tapkanja senčila na veko mogoče doseči dober izkupiček. Najbolj mi je bil pa všeč svilen občutek senčil. :love:

Vijolični četvorček mi ni bil všeč – že tako je barvno bolj primeren za tiste s hladnejšim podtonom kože, pa tudi senčila so se drobila iz bila na splošno zelo prašna.

Freaky Friday kolekcija naj bi bila zelo kmalu na voljo pri nas v DMih, Muellerju, Tušu, Lecleru …

Cena: 3,95 EUR za 11ml stekleničko laka in 5,95 EUR za mini četvorček.

EDIT: Danes sem sprobala tester vijola paletke v Mullerju na Čopovi in je imel podobno strukturo kot Hot As Fire paleta. :thumb:
