I’m really excited about Essie’s fall collection. It is probably my favourite collection from Essie so far. I absolutely adore half of the collection and I like the other half. Isn’t that great? Enough of my babbling … let’s move on to the photos …

In Stitches is an interesting shade with creme finish. I just can’t describe it. I mean, it’s something between rose, mauve, red … something like that. I like it. No application issues. There are two coats shown in the picture below.

Little Brown Dress is a very dark brown. It’s an almost black shade. Very nice vampy shade. You can see it’s not black, but it’s almost … well, black. No application issues. Two coats in the picture below.

Limited Addiction is a gorgeous red creme with jelly glossiness. It’s very similar to Essie – Bordeaux, which is my favourite red creme/jelly. No application issues. Two coats in the picture below.

Merino Cool is a “Metro Chic” shade. Most of you probably know $OPI’s Metro Chic. Well, Merino Cool is an almost dupe. It’s not an exact dupe, because it’s let’s say half a shade lighter than the Metro Chic, but really really close (see the picture below). The application is unfortunately also similar, which means that it’s watery and it needs three coats to be fully opaque. But I really don’t mind the third coat, because it dries fast and it’s such a nice shade.

Sew Psyched is my favourite of the bunch. It’s such an interesting shade. It’s greyed green or something like that. And they threw in tiny silver shimmer. The shimmer is almost invisible, but it’s nice anyway. No application issues. It’s well pigmented. There are two coats in the picture below.

Velvet Voyeur is another almost black creme. This one is deep purple. It’s a gorgeous vampy purple or maybe eggplant. There are two coats shown in the picture below.

As I wrote in the introduction, I love the collection! It’s very fall appropriate and there are some trendy shades, one gorgeous red shade and two vampy shades. What else do you want? Maybe more shimmer polishes? I don’t mind, because I love cremes at the moment. What about you?

Zelo sem vesela, da vam danes končno lahko predstavim jesensko kolekcijo znamke Essie. Kolekcija je meni osebno ena najbolj posrečenih kolekcij te znamke v zadnjem času. Obožujem polovico kolekcije, preostala polovica mi je pa prav tako všeč. Super, kajne? Dovolj govoričenja … preidimo k fotografijam …

In Stitches je lušten odtenek, ki ga ne znam opisati. Odtenek je nekje med vrtnico, slezenasto, rdečo … tam nekje … Meni je všeč. Z nanosom nisem imela težav. Na fotografiji sta dve plasti.

Little Brown Dress je zelo temno rjav krem odtenek. Spada med skoraj črne odtenke. Lušten vampy odtenek. Čeprav spada med skoraj črne odtenek, je videti, da ni čisto črn. Nobenih težav pri nanosu. Dve plasti prikazani na fotografiji.

Limited Addiction je čudovit rdeč odtenek s krem do jelly finišem. Zelo je podoben odtenku Essie – Bordeaux, ki je meni eden najlepših rdečkotov. Tudi s tem nisem imela nobenih težav pri nanašanju. Dve plasti na fotografiji spodaj.

Merino Cool je barva vsem zelo dobro poznanega $OPI Metro Chic odtenka. Če sem natančna, je Merino Cool skoraj dvojnik Metro Chic-a. Skoraj zato, ker je morda pol odtenka svetlejši od Metro Chic-a. Odtenka sta res zelo zelo blizu (poglej fotografijo spodaj). Nanos je žal zelo podoben Metro Chic-u. Žal zato, ker je tudi Merino Cool tako kot Metro Chic med malenkost vodenimi in potrebuje tri plasti za popolno prekrivnost. Tretja plast me dejansko ne moti, ker se Merino Cool zelo hitro suši in odtenek je še vedno krasen.

Sew Psyched je moj zmagovalec kolekcije, ki mu v moji zbirki ni enakega. Gre za zelo zanimiv odtenek, ki je prav tako težko opisati. Morda bi lahko napisala, da gre za osivelo zeleno? :undecided: Ni ne siv ne zelen, ampak nekje vmes. Za povrh so mu primešali še zelo droben in skoraj neviden srebrn šimer. Sew Psyched ni predstavljal nobenih težav pri nanašanju. Zelo dobro je pigmentiran. Na fotografiji spodaj sta dve plasti.

Velvet Voyeur je še drugi skoraj črn odtenek iz kolekcije. Tale je temno vijoličen. Zelo lep vampy vijoličen ali morda melancanast odtenek. Na fotografiji sta dve plasti.

Kot sem že v uvodu napisala, celotno kolekcijo naravnost obožujem! Odtenki so skrbno izbrani, so zelo “trendy” in zelo primerni za jesen. Kaj več bi si lahko želeli? Morda več šimrastih odtenkov? No, mene ne moti, da je le eden, ker so mi trenutno krem odtenki zelo všeč. Kaj pa vam?
