Essence Legends Of The Sky TE is one of those rare collections where everything that could go wrong … And I don’t mean product wise but on my end. :silly:

First I was unable to get my hands on red nail polish from this TE, which made me sad. I got 4 out of 6 shades available. :sigh: I make video first and then proceed with nail swatches. But I made a mess of things before I even got to swatching. So I officially pronounced video to be cursed. :biggrin: But when I saw the weirdish colors of nail swatches on my monitor, I just declared that Legends Of The Sky TE is cursed. :haha:

All the polishes in this collection have muted colors, little bit thicker formula and applied well. :thumb: I used 2 coats for all swatches.

I Wear My Flying Goggles At Night is the lightest shade. Like most of the shades in Essence Legends Of The Sky TE, this one has me puzzled. It looks (slightly) brownish gray most of the time, but under artificial light gets few shades warmer.

Like Leo’s Pilot Jacket was the hardest to photograph as it looks a lot greener inside than outside. I edited all the photos (hence the weird skin tones) to show you at least approximate colors. It’s very understated grayed out yellowish green … ideal to stamp over. :nails:

I Am A Viator is the weirdest brownish color (with hint of red and violet) that I ever saw. But it actually looks great on me … just not as chocolate brown as on swatch. :devil: I didn’t use top coat with this one.

Last one I found was No Better Way To Sky. Very lovely burnt orange that I wish Essence included in one of the fall editions. This is something I would love to wear when trees are dropping the leaves … :wub: Again swatch is to washed out and not the almost pumpkin orange it should be. :blush:

I did try to stamp with I Am A Viator over No Better Way To Sky but as everything else in this trend edition it didn’t turn out as planed so I’m not showing you that one. :biggrin: But you can stamp with it … if you want paler image.

Now From Zero To Hero eyeshadow palette left me speechless. :w00t:

I had to decide whether to get blush or palette and as there was tester for palette and not the blush … palette went home with me. I love all the eyeshadows except the blueish grays on the left … those colors don’t look too hot on me. Apricot, Red and Brown are more pigmented than others but they are all so soft and easy to work with that it’s joy to use them. I already wore 2 or 3 makeups with this palette and I LOVE it so far. I would recommend  this to all the beginners to experiment with (you have 2 matte shades, highlighter, brown …) and to those that wish to have orange and red eyeshadow in their collection that are easier to use in everyday makeup than those insanely pigmented ones. Swatch is made over eyeshadow base – 2 coats.

How do you like Essence Legends Of The Sky trend edition? Did anybody get red nail polish? Is it as pretty as on promo photos?Essence Legends Of The Sky TE je ena izmed tistih kolekcij, kjer je šlo narobe skoraj vse kar je lahko šlo. Pa ne z izdelki samimi, temveč s swatchanjem. :silly:

Začelo se je že v Mullerju kjer nisem več dobila rdečega laka, ki sem si ga najbolj želela … drugje pa te TE ne bo. Dobila sem 4 izmed 6 lakov. :sigh: Ponavadi naredim najprej video, potem pa se lotim swatchev na nohtih. Tokrat je šlo vse narobe preden sem sploh prišla do “pravih” swatchev. Na koncu sem imela vsega zadosti in razglasila, da je video preklet. :biggrin: Dokler nisem videla kako čudni so ratali swatchi na nohtih … takrat sem dokončno kronala celotno Legends Of The Sky TE za prekleto. :haha:

Vsi laki v tej kolekciji so rahlo zamolkli, imajo malo bolj gosto formulo in se dokaj lepo nanašajo. :thumb: Pri vseh swatchih sem uporabila 2 plasti-

I Wear My Flying Goggles At Night je najsvetlejši odtenek, ki sem ga kupila. Tako kot večina lakov iz Essence Legends Of The Sky TE, me tudi tale barvno mede. Zunaj izgleda rahlo rjavo siv, medtem ko pod umetno svetlobo postane toplejši.

Like Leo’s Pilot Jacket je bilo še najtežje fotografirati. Barva namreč variira med bolj izprano sivo zeleno in bolj rumenkasto zeleno. V vsakem primeru je tole zame idealna baza za konadiranje. :nails:

I Am A Viator je hecen rjavkast odtenek z malo rdečkastega in melancanastega(?) podtona. Na meni je odtenek izgledal super … vendar ne tako čokoladno kot na swatchu. :devil: Nisem uporabila nadlaka.

Zadnji odtenek, ki sem ga našla, je No Better Way To Sky. Zelo lepa jesensko oranžna barva, ki bi mi veliko bolj pasala v jesenskem času, ko drevesa izgubljajo liste …  :wub: Swatch je preveč izpran in ne tako skoraj bučkasto oranžen kot v resnici. :blush:

Sem sicer poizkusila konadirati z I Am A Viator čez No Better Way To Sky, vendar je tako kot marsikaj drugega v tej kolekciji, tudi ta neslavno končal. Tako da vam ga ne bom pokazala. :biggrin: Je pa možno konadirati z njim … le bolj bled odtis boste dobile.

From Zero To Hero paleta senčil me je čisto navdušila. :w00t:

Odločala sem se med rdečilom in paletko. Ker je za paletko bil tester za rdečilo pa ne, je z menoj odšla paleta. Barvno gledano so mi vse barve, razen skrajno levih, všeč. Hladne sive zahtevajo več časa za kombiniranje, če želim, da na meni izgledajo OK … in se mi ponavadi ne da s tem ukvarjat. :blush: Apricot, Red in Brown so najbolj pigmentirane, vsi odtenki pa so mehki in je z njimi prav veselje delati. Do sedaj sem jo uporabila že 2x ali 3x in jo za enkrat obožujem. Mogoče je še najbolj primerna za začetnike, ki še eksperimentirajo in lahko istočasno preizkusijo mat finish, dobijo osvetljevalec … ter tisti, ki v paleti pogrešate oranžno ter rdeče senčilo, ki ni tako ekstremno pigmentirano kot pri nekaterih znamkah. Swatch je narejen čez bazo – 2 plasti.
