On the outside polishes from Essence Urban Messages collection didn’t look that special to me. I liked the lighter blue shade and that was it. But when I saw them in the store, I was blown away by the pretty shimmer in all five shades.
Essence Skyscraper is beige polish with a twist. First they added gray-brown specks. When paired with beige base it gives the polish that stone look. And to make polish even more interesting, bluish shimmer/flakes was added. In the end you get a weird combo that actually works. :D I used 2 thicker layers + top coat.
Essence Wall Of Fame is pretty yellow shade that is not too bold but not to pale either. When you pair it with yellow gold shimmer you get lovely and wearable yellow polish. Color is more muted yellow in shade and stronger yellow in the sun. Application was not the best, but not that bad either. You just have to take a little bit more time to master the formula. 2 thicker layers + top coat.
Essence It Peace is my least favorite polish in Urban Messages TE. I simply never like bluish polish in pinkish base. This one was easy to apply. 2 thicker layers + top coat.
Essence Street Styler is real beauty. Greenish blue base with something that looks like glass flecked glitter + tiny blue shimmer. Formula is thinner and for me easier to work with. 2 layers + top coat.
Essence Nightline has midnight blue base with lots of blue and violet colored shimmer. To get this beauty to shine in all of its glory, you need to have strong like source … I recommend the sun to achieve the fullest effect.
All in all I’ll definitively be wearing Essence Urban Messages polishes in the future (well all except It Peace). I made video showing shimmer in Essence Urban Messages bottles. So if you would like to see more sparkling beauty, press play. :D

I also bought red lipstick from this collection. Weird thing is, there is no shade name listed on it. Not on the packaging or the bar code label. I’m not a fan of this product. Closest thing to describe this formula is lip gloss in stick form. And not good kind of lip gloss either. The only way it looks presentable on me, is when I use the slightest amount to get reddish lip-stain. If I use more I get it all over the place and it looks really gross. Is also has this strong fruit candy scent that bugs the hell out of me. I went 3-4 times over the same spot to get this swatch. Photo taken in shade. Not going to be using this lipstick much … if ever.
