White, my trendy white. I may not be the huge fan of solid white nails, but what better than trend in one of the most difficult formulas nail polish out there? With the huge amount of new marker white nail polishes I stocked up on them for my nail art base polishes.
One of the best formulas I tried out was Alessandro Ibiza Night from collection White Night. Application was pretty non problematic for solid white cream nail polish. Not super easy, but not hard either. I would advise that you focus on the application and you’ll minimize chance of any patchy spots. I was in a hurry, but still managed to get only one, so I am overall very satisfied with this white polish. I intended to stamp over it, but after a week I kind of gave up as I didn’t have time for basic stuff let alone time to play with my manicure. There is one good thing that came out of my failed experiment – I can tell you that Ibiza Night had fantastic staying power on my nails.
I also received Alessandro Parisian Chic to test out, but I was not as impressed with this shade as I was with Ibiza Night. Parisian Chic is very dense green shimmer nail polish with pearly feel to it. It looks like lovely shade to brighten up lighter colors, but I prefer more of a contrast and didn’t really love over white one either. If I am not mistaken, I spotted slight duochrome effect to it. I applied both nail polishes over base coat in 2 layers + top coat.
I have my eyes set on Barcelona Dream from White Night limited edition, as I don’t have many off white nail polishes in my collection. If it turns up half as pretty as in promo photos, it will be mine.
Price: 9,95 EUR for 10ml (e-kozmetika, Maxi, Nama …)
