Couple of day ago I read on one of the Croatian forums, that new Catrice polishes are now available in their drugstores. What new Catrice polishes? Of course I had to check it out right away.

I lost my breath when I opened Catrice web page! I had to have three polishes and 2/3rd of them ended on my wish list. :drop:

Mamy, her son and hubby were my angels that arranged for me to get the polishes the next day. :rose:

Poison Me, Poison You! looked gorgeous on their website and I was not disappointed when I saw it  real life. But it did look like suspiciously similar to one of my polishes … China Glaze Let’s Groove. I had to compare them right away. :angel:

Polishes are almost identical. Let’s Groove (middle finger) has little bit cooler toned base and more warm shimmer, but the end result is the same. :drop:

Color description is the same one for both of the polishes – eggplant color little bit on the cooler side with blue and scarlet shimmer.

Formulas are however quite different. For me China Claze comes out as a winner. Catrice is more thick and sticky polish, so I had to use thicker layers that I tend to avoid because it often causes polishes to “bubble”.

I love new Catrice flat brushes. They’re almost perfect and I think application will be piece of cake … with other shades that is.

I was very impressed with new nail polish color pallet and I applaud to the idea to include dupes for hard to find polishes. On of the most obvious examples is Sold Out For Ever – which is supposedly almost dupe for Chanel Jade polish.

Which of the new shades is your lemming?

Edit: Price for 10ml bottle is 2,5 EUR (3.3 USD=2.2 GBP). In our part of the Europe you can buy them in Kozmo stores in Croatia or drugstores (Muller?) in Austria and Germany.Pred nekaj dnevi sem na enem izmed hrvaških forumov prebrala, da so novi Catrice laki že v prodaji. Catrice je prenovil ponudbo lakov za nohte? Prvič slišim.

Seveda me je radovednost premamila, tako da sem takoj odbrzela pogledati, če me bo kakšen izmed novih odtenkov očaral.

Ko sem odprla Catrice spletno stran, sem ostala brez sape. Nemudoma sem želela imeti tri odtenke, vsaj 2/3 kolekcije pa je pristalo na WL. :drop:

Zahvala gre Mamy ter predvsem njenemu sinu, da sem že naslednji dan dobila dva želena lakca. :rose:

Poison Me, Poison You! je na spletni strani izgledal enostavno prečudovito in tudi v živo ne razočara. Mi je bil pa nekam znan. Sumljivo je namreč podoben China Glaze Let’s Groove odtenku. Seveda sem ju morala takoj primerjati. :angel:

Odtenka sta skoraj popolnoma enaka! Let’s Groove (na sredincu) ima za pikico bolj hladno bazo ter malo več toplega šimra, vendar je rezultat skoraj identičen. :drop:

Glede same barve velja isti opis kot za Let’s Groove – malo bolj hladna barva melancane z modrim in škrlatnim šimrom.

Formuli sta si precej različni. Tukaj na celi črti zame zmaga China Glaze. Catrice je malo bolj gost in nekako lepljiv lak. Obvezno je potrebno uporabiti malo bolj debele plasti, kar pa pri meni ni najbolj zaželeno, ker se mi hitro pojavijo mehurčki.

Novi Catrice laki imajo ploščat čopič, ki mi je zelo všeč. Omogoča zelo natančen nanos in pričakujem, da bo nanos z njim prava poezija … pri kakšnem drugem odtenku.

Catrice me je izredno pozitivno presenetil s prekrasno barvno paleto ter s poustvaritvijo nekaterih razprodanih ali težko dosegljivih lakov. Mogoče še najbolj očiten primer je odtenek Sold Out For Ever, ki naj bi bil zamenjava za Chanel Jade lak.

Spodnji laki sicer niso moji, vendar sem vam enostavno morala pokazati tele lepotce. :stars:

Kateri izmed novih odtenkov je vaš favorit?

Edit:  10ml steklenička stane 2,5 EUR. Nam najbližja prodajna mesta so Kozmo drogerije na Hrvaškem ter Muller(?) drogerije  v Avstriji.
