Review and swatches: OPI BurlesqueOpis in ocena: OPI Burlesque

Maestra kindly allowed me to swatch her OPI Burlesque polishes. :rose:

Glow Up Already! and Show It & Glow It! are very, very shiny polishes. But my camera apparently decided to protect my eyes from all that light, so I’m afraid you’ll have to imagine all that sparkle coming from them. :blush:

Surprisingly I loved Glow Up Already! more than Show It & Glow It! shade. Color looks a little bit funky in the bottle, but I loved it on nails. I already warned Maestra I’ll be borrowing this shade. :angel:

Detail where you can see glitter in hexagonal shape. You can not actually  see the glitter in the manicure, sparkle is to strong. :biggrin:

With Show It & Glow It! shade the main color is pinkish-violet. I find it a little bit too cool, so it’s not on my wish list. Just like previous shade, SIGI is also very dazzling polish.

The last one is the reason why I wanted to swatch Maestras polishes in the first place. Tease-y Does It is the member of vampy shades community with visible glitter/shimmer. And I LOVE those kind of shades. This dark reddish-brown polish with purplish shimmer is no exception. :wub:

I was a little bit surprised with duochrome effect that is seen in the bottle but it does not transfer onto the nails.

Since it looks really similar to Nubar Raspberry Truffle I already have, I wondered just how much alike are they. Judge for yourself:

Nubar is the one applied in the middle (ring finger) and it looks dupe for Tease-y Does It or better jet Tease-y Does It is the dupe for Raspberry Truffle. You can even see the similar duochrome effect in Nubar bottle. Staying power is good with both polishes – very slight tip wear after two days.

Removing glittery polishes was a little bit more difficult as you can imagine, while Tease-y Does It was not problematic.

Glow Up Already! in Show It & Glow It! se tako zelo bleščita, da se je fotoaparat odločil prevzeti vlogo zaščitnih očal. Tako da je čas, da vklopite domišljijo in si predstavljate ultra bleščeča lakca. :silly:

Presenetljivo mi je bil Glow Up Already! bolj všeč kot Show It & Glow It!. Barva v steklenički izgleda malo funky, ampak mi je bila na nohtih prav všeč. Sem že opozorila Maestro, da si ga bom občasno izposodila. :angel:

In še detajl na katerem se lepo vidijo šestkotne bleščice v prozorni bazi. S prostim očesom jih ne vidite … je bleščanje premočno. :biggrin:

Pri Show It & Glow It! odtenku prevladujejo roza-vijolične bleščice. Mogoče bi si želela le malo toplejši odtenek. Tako kot prejšnji odtenek, se tudi SIGI zelo močno blešči.

Tale lepotec je pa razlog zakaj sem želela na vsak način sprobati Maestrine lakce. Tease-y Does It spada med vampy lake z vidnim šimrom/bleščicami, ki jih naravnost obožujem. In bordo rjava osnova s prevladujočim vijolčkastim šimrom ni izjema. :wub:

Malo me je presenetil duochrome efekt, ki je v steklenički zelo lepo viden, na nohte pa se praktično ne prenese.

Ker že imam Nubar Raspberry Truffle, me je zanimalo koliko sta si odtenka podobna. Presodite same:

Nubar se nahaja na sredini (prstanec) in se dejansko ne razlikuje od Tease-y Does It Celo douchrome efekt je podoben. Rekla bi, da je Tease-y Does It definitivno “dupe” za Raspberry Truffle. Obstojnost obeh je pri meni zelo dobra – po dveh dneh imam samo rahlo zlizane konice.

Odstranjevanje bleščičastih lakov je bilo seveda bolj naporno delo kot sicer, medtem ko s Tease-y Does It nisem imela težav.
