Goga and I finally had one our wishes fulfilled when I visited Austria and was able to buy new Catrice Ultimate Colour lipsticks. :happy:

First off I made swatches of all five shades on my hand … just to give you general fell of these lipsticks.

From left to right: Pinker-bell, Lovely Lilac, Ginger & Fred. Ginger & Fred was tricky to photograph so imagine a little less red shade and more purple one.

Be Natural! and Princess Peach shades were nightmare to photograph, so the below swatch is for illustration purposes only.  :sorry: Be Natural! is more pinkish while Princess Peach looks like lively peachy color with lots of orange in it.

I really wanted to show you my lipsticks (Be Natural! and Ginger & Fred) on the lips but I’m still learning how to take photos of lip and eye MU, so the photos do not look so good. On the other hand, the color looks a lot more realistic than on hand swatches. :silly:

As you already saw on the first swatch, Ginger & Fred lipstick has gorgeous gold shimmer. Unfortunately I hated it on the lips – it feels kind of gritty and I have to apply the lipstick without any “ups” stokes or the shimmer is impossible to remove.

I love reddish purple color, but I can’t say the same for the texture. The only way this lipstick behaves itself on my lips is if I apply it in very thin coat. When I wanted to add another layer it looked simply horrible. I does not dry out my lips (so far). It leaves vaseline like feeling … to much for my taste. It last only for short time on my lips … disappointing really.

Be Natural! – nude lipstick I like a little bit more than previous one … even though I had the same problem with layering and staying power. I guess Catrice Ultimate Colour lipstick formula just does not do it for me. :hmm:

I think Illamasqa lipsticks spoiled me. :blush:

As you can ready in the Goga’s review, she liked here lipsticks more than I did. This is what I get for choosing less vibrant shades. :biggrin:

All lipsticks are very creamy, very moisturizing and without shimmer. And also as you can see they are very pigmented. The only thing that I don’t like about them is their shape. I’m not used to have that shaped lipstick, so I had some tiny problems with application but overall I’m very satisfied. :thumb:

Princess Peach is beautiful peachy lipstick. I finally found one that suites my skin tone and I don’t look like a corpse.

Pinker-bell is the most vibrant of them all. Beautiful fuchsia colour which gets a hint of blue shine in the sun. Definitively suitable for this summer.

Lovely Lilac is as the name says lilac lipstick. I would say that it’s Voletta’s little sister, but Violetta is way more beautiful colour and I adore it. Catrice one was adopted by my mother and she adores it. :silly:

Z Gogo sva si dali duška in si omislili nekaj Catrice Ultimate Colour šmink. :angel:

Najprej sem jih dobila v roke jaz in naredila swatche vseh petih odtenkov na roki.

Od leve proti desni si sledijo: Pinker-bell, Lovely Lilac, Ginger & Fred. Ginger & Fred je bila muhasta za fotografirati – v resnici je malo bolj vijola in manj rdeča.

In še swatch Be Natural! in Princess Peach odtenka, ki pa je bolj za ilustracijo, kot da bi bil krasno barvno nazoren. :sorry: Be Natural! je nareč bolj rozkast, Princess Peach pa je zelo živahna peachy barva, ki ima kar dosti oranžne v sebi.

Na vsak način sem vam želela pokazati moja odtenka (Be Natural! in Ginger & Fred) na ustnicah, vendar se še iščem pri fotografiranju ustnic in oči, tako da fotografije niso ravno najboljše. Je pa zato barva veliko bolj realna. :silly:

Kot ste lahko opazili že na prvem swatchu vsebuje Ginger & Fred šminka prekrasen zlat šimer. Na žalost mi ta šimer na ustnicah sploh ni všeč, ker se ga dejansko čuti + ne omogoča nikakršnih kiksov, ker ga je kar težko odstraniti s kože.

Rdečkasto vijolična barva mi je sicer všeč, vendar pa mi tekstura ne odgovarja preveč. Šminka se mi obnese namreč samo, če jo nanesem v tankem sloju. Ko sem jo želela plastiti za globlji odtenek, je bolj kot ne pristala samo v gubicah. Ustnic mi (za enkrat) ne izsušuje, občutek pa je dokaj vazelinski … preveč za moj okus. Obstojnost tudi ni preveč blesteča na meni.

Be Natural! – nude šminka mi je bolj všeč … čeprav tudi te ne morem lepo plastiti in ni pretirano obstojna. Izgleda, da mi enostavno ne leži formula Catrice Ultimate Colour šmink. :hmm:

Mislim, da so me Illamasquine šminke preveč razvadile. :blush:

Kot boste lahko prebrale v nadaljevanju, je imela naša Goga precej bolj srečno roko pri izboru odtenkov ali pa je formula njej bolj pisana na kožo.

Vse šminke so zelo kremaste, brez šimra, se lepo mažejo in so kar vlažile. Jaz spodaj nisem dala nobene podlage. Kot lahko vidite so precej pigmentirane.

Edino kar mi ni všeč in je tudi edini minus, je sama oblika šminke. Kot se lahko vidi je na začetku zaobljena. In ker nisem navajena na tako obliko, sem se malce s težavo našminkala. Ne glede na to, sem s samimi šminkami precej zadovoljna. :thumb:

Princess Peach je luštna peachy barva in moram reči, da sem končno našla tako, ki paše na mojo polt. Vse ostale so na meni izgledale kot da sem mrlič.

Pinker-bell je najbolj ‘živa’ šminka. Fuksija barva, ki na soncu dobi en modrikast sijaj. Res zelo lepa barva, idealna za poletne dni.

Lovely Lilac me ni preveč navdušila, mogoče tudi zaradi tega, ker imam doma že dve podobni šminki. Lahko bi rekla, da je mlajša sestrica od Violette, s tem da je slednja res uau barva in jo obožujem. Zato je to šminko že posvojila moja mami in je čisto navdušena, njej so te barve noro lepe. :silly:

So vse ‘moje’ barve a ne? :wink:
