Can you believe that I managed to stumble upon almost full stand of Essence Superheroes limited edition while buying diapers? :biggrin: I really liked the holographic and thermo effect nail polishes so I picked up those two.
Essence Super, Man! holo effect is my favorite of the two. Easy application, strong silver base and lots of holographic glitter. What’s not to like? :silly: I have very limited time for swatches now and lot to tell/show you, so I’ll be doing more one and 2 nail swatches. :sorry: Here is the comparison of 2 layers of Maybelline Colorama nail polish no. 49 (from my Impulsive shopping post) and Essence Super, Man! (thumb). I used 2 coats of top coat.
Essence Fantastic Girl thermo effect nail polish is more sheer than Super, Man. It still has decent coverage, but my tips were slightly visible. As far as I could tell, top coat did not stop thermo effect from working as it should. :thumb: Fantastic Girl is pink when hot and purple in lover temperatures. In reality it’s pink most of the time indoors, with purple tips when temperatures drop and more purple outside now that winter is nearing. 2 coats + top coat.

Si lahko mislite, da sem med kupovanjem plenic naletela na polno Essence Superheroes stojalo v Mullerju? :biggrin: Holografski in termo lak sta mi bila všeč, tako da sta pristala v nakupovalni košarici.
Essence Super, Man! holo efekt je moj favorit. Krasno se nanaša, srebrna baza je zelo dobro prekrivna, pa tudi na holografskih bleščicah niso šparali = meni pisan na kožo lak. :silly: Zaradi pomanjkanja časa, bo sedaj manj “pravih” swatchev, ampak bo več primerjav na prstu dveh … Tokrat sem ga primerjala z Maybelline Colorama lakom št. 49 (del tega posta). Essence Super, Man! je nanesen na palec. Oba laka sta prikazana v dveh plasteh + 2 lasti nadlaka.
Essence Fantastic Girl je lak s termo efektom – spreminja barvo glede na temperaturo. Ni tako prekriven kot Super, Man!, vendar še vedno ne gre za čisto prosojen odtenek. So pa konice rahlo vidne. Zame je bila dobra novica, da nadlak ni preprečil termo laku normalnega delovanja. :thumb: Fantastic Girl je roza pri toplejših temperaturah in vijola pri hladnejših. Pri meni je to izgledalo nekako takole – roza v zaprtih prostorih z vijola konico proti večeru, ko je temperatura padla za stopinjo/dve in vijola zunaj v času, ko se nam približuje zima. 2 plasti + nadlak.

Ker pa fotografije niso najboljši medij za prikazovanje sprememb efekt lakov za nohte, sem posnela zelo kratek video posnetek, ki zelo realno prikaže bleščanje holografskih bleščic in spreminjanje barve pri različnih temperaturah.
Mi je lahko žal, ker nisem kupila še kaj drugega iz Essence Superheroes LE?
Če kdo kje vidi liquid gold, holo effekt in srebrne bleščice javite proosim :smell:
Sem prepozno našla in sem super sad :-(
Kupila sem pa pinki in modre bleščice, modre so naj naj z modrim
sand effect lakom… Vse bi mela v glavnem…
Lucky you! Did you find it at Muller? I was lemming a couple polishes from this collection, but haven’t found it at DMs (actually the thermo was my biggest lemming, and still is :))!

Zanima me, ali je termo lak v omejeni izdaji? Včeraj sem ga la iskat v ptujski Muller, ampak so me prodajalke tako čudno vse gledale, da sem se totalno zmedla. Češ, da pri Essence ne obstaja termo lak. V katerem mestu si ga pa ti kupila?
Jope – Superheroes je omejena izdaja, vendar naj bi DMi kmalu dobili to LE, tako da ni še vse izgubljeno. Jaz sem ga kupila v Müllerju v SN v Ljubljani.
Nazalost nisam uspjela uhvatit ovaj termo :( nadam se da ce opet izbacivat nesto tako
