Waiting on my “to swatch” shelf

I just prepared bunch of photos for the upcoming posts and thought it might be interesting to show you group ones … at least I hope you’ll find it interesting.

Revlon Slovenia sent me few products to test out. I was pretty comfortable with reviewing 3 of the offered products as I already tried out Maestra’s Nearly Naked liquid foundation in Vanilla so I knew I liked the formulation just not the color. ColorStay concealer was high on my WL as Maestra just tested bunch of them and this one came highly recommended + Revlon polishes are one of those brands you know quality is not really the question … colors are another thing though. I wish from bottom of my heart that Revlon would bring ColorStay nail polishes to Europe. I have one shade Maestra brought me from USA and had bunch of them coming in swap, but never received the package. Lipstick I’m not impressed with, but will play some more with it to see if there are any possibilities.

Revlon to be reviewed

Sand finish nail polishes are not my favorites, but I decided I needed at least one. So I chose IsaDora Ocean Rush from their Sugar Crush limited edition. If nothing else, I know I’ll love the color … even if I have to put 3 layers of top coat over it.

Maestra was a doll and brought me lovely present from her trip to UK. Collection Lasting Perfection concealer is finally mine.

And she also brightened one of my “sick-days” by visiting + cheered me up with this gorgeous gift – Maybelline Color Whisper in the shade Who Wore It Red-er.

One of our readers mentioned in the survey that she would like to see more of S-he brand on the blog. Well – I used to like their nail polishes but can’t really say that about them anymore. “New” formula is just not as good as the older ones. Nevertheless, I stopped by their stand and spotted potentially very interesting flakie shade – 008. Let’s see if the newest additions are any better.

I also bought 2 of my Illamasqua lemmings – cream pigment in Hollow and Gleam in Aurora. Never fear, I already have new items on my WL – 2 primers, Skin Base and at least one new blush and lipstick. Polishes are given. :D

In the end I did buy few things from Essence Me&My Ice Cream LE – lip balm, highlighting pearls and one nail polish. Video review is already up together with Catrice Matchpoint LE.

Then I got bored and stopped making/editing photos. At the same time I panicked a little when I saw that this is less than half of the products I wished to swatch/write about in the following weeks. What can I say – I’m hopeless. :D

  1. Oh lovely! Everything, but the s-he polish. I reviewed them on my blog and I thought they were the biggest fail in history of nail polish. :nono: Very sad because it looks so promising in the bottle :sigh:
