Review and swatches: Essence Crystalliced TE
As I suspected Essence Crystalliced nail polishes are not my cup of tea. I closely examined all of the available shades and my only reaction was – blah. I did get liquid highlighter and liquid eyeshadow.
Essence Crystalliced TE liquid highlighter looked very pretty in the bottle + it has a pump so of course I had to buy it. I wouldn’t classify this as a “day” highlighter … at least not for those of us that are shimmer-shy. Texture and shimmer are very fine, but you can still notice shimmer and not just sheen as I prefer my highlighters to look like. Base color is little bit to light which makes no difference to me as I’m very pale, but when I applied it over darker foundation, I had to use really small amount to avoid “Christmas tree” effect.
I have two Essence Crystalliced liquid eyeshadows. First one is It’s A Snow-Woman’s World. Base is purplish-gray with copperish shimmer. After I apply it I see pretty much only shimmer. So I guess it could be also used as highlighter.
Second one is Ice Age Reloaded. Lovely beige colored with goldish shimmer. Both liquid eyeshadows can be used as a base for powdery eyeshadows.
All three liquid products I have from Essence Crystalliced TE are not sticky or greasy.
