Spoiled nail polish swatches
Our Maestra is familiar with my love for trying out new brands so she included 3 Spoiled nail polishes into the goodies bag she brought me from USA. This was first time I even heard of these polishes, but USA ladies later told me that Spoiled brand is connected with/part of Wet&Wild company.
I have very mixed feelings about these polishes. On one hand I liked the details, combinations are not bland, but I was not impressed by the formula, bushy brush … If I’m not mistaken Spoiled nail polishes are in Essence price range so I don’t expect them to be brilliant but still … little bit better formula would not be amiss.
Spoiled Ants In My Pants has interesting jelly black base filled with red glitter. Color combo I loved … especially the few duochrome glitters added into the mix. But application totally sucked for me – brush is allover the place, glitter got stuck into the broom like bristles … I suspected that base would be sheer, but I still used it on it’s own … just to see how will it look like. I used 3 thick layers to achieve at least decent coverage.
Spoiled The Parking Meteor Expired was my favorite from the bunch. Even-though douchrome effect is not even half as good as in the bottle, this one was the easiest to work with and coverage was also good. 2 coats + top coat.
Spoiled Checkin’ Into Rehab also showed a lot of promise, but sheer formula and small amount of flakes that actually transfered onto the nails did not endear it to me. 2 coats + top coat.
For some reason none of the three formulas liked my fast drying top coats as shrinkage was almost immediate.
I can’t really say that Spoiled polishes are anywhere near my wish list, but I tried out new brand, so I can’t say I’m terribly disappointed.
