Coastal Scents – Eye-Poxy (new formula)Nova verzija Coastal Scents Eye-Poxyja

This week I received my Coastal Scents Eye Poxy – brand new formula. :w00t:

I reviewed the very first version in THIS post, and was tempted by new and improved formula of Eye Poxy. :angel:

You can see right away that the formula is quite different. New Poxy is much buttery, there are still few lumps present, but for now they’re manageable.

I still can’t apply primer with brush only – I have to use fingers to evenly spread it around the lid. But I avoid using fingers only – since that is to unhygienic for my taste.

As you can see in this picture – content is not evenly spread in the pot, but I have no problems with that.

I do mind that there is no date of expiration listed – not on their website or on the product itself. Other thing that bothered me is, that ingredients on their web page did not match ingredients on my Poxy.

Here are the ingredients listed on Coastal Scents webpage: Castor Wax, Cyclomethicone, Beeswax, Silca, Boron Nitride, Dimethicone, Candelilla Wax, Castor Oil, Cetyl Stearic Alcohol, Polysorbate 80, Vitamin E (Tocopherol).

Of course I had to test it right away. :biggrin: For now – I’m impressed. No creasing and very little color fading for hours on my very oily lids – so it should last whole day on most of the notsoproblematic lids. Time will tell if effect will last in this formula or if it will be gone in the few months as in the last one.

Prvo verzijo Eye-Poxy primerja sem že ocenila v postu o Sweetscents senčilih na TFI in CS Eye-Poxy-ju, sedaj pa me je zamikala še čisto nova izvedba. :angel:

Že na prvi pogled je vidno, da so zelo spremenili formulo. Nov Poxi je bolj mazljiv, nekaj grudic je še kar prisotnih a so zaenkrat še obvladljive.

Meni se še vedno ne zdi primeren za nanos s čopičem, ker tako mazljiv le ni. Jaz ga sicer bom najprej nanesla s čopičem, potem pa razmazala s prsti, ker je pomakanje prstov v lonček zame enostavno preveč nehigienično.

V lončku je vidno, da vsebina ni lepo razporejena, kar mene osebno to ne moti.

Zmotili sta me pa dve dejstvi. Najprej to, da ni nikjer označen rok trajanja – ne na internetni strani in ne na lončku. Prejšnji Poxy je dobil neprijeten vonj po šestih mesecih, me zanima kako bo z novo verzijo.

Druga zadeva, ki mi nikakor ni všeč je, da so na spletni strani navedene drugačne sestavine kot na izdelku. Sestavine, ki so navedene na Coastal Scents spletni strani: Castor Wax, Cyclomethicone, Beeswax, Silca, Boron Nitride, Dimethicone, Candelilla Wax, Castor Oil, Cetyl Stearic Alcohol, Polysorbate 80, Vitamin E (Tocopherol).

Seveda sem ga morala takoj testirati. :biggrin: Zaenkrat se obnese tako dobro, kot se je na začetku obnesla “stara” verzija. Senčke so zelo intenzivnih barv, obstojnost je dobra tudi na mastnih vekah … na mojih zdrži nekaj ur, tako da predvidevam, da bo drugim makeup brez problema zdržal cel dan.
