They say better late than never. Finally, I have Essie’s collection for Spring to show to you.

From six shades I’ll show you only four. Here they are in no particular order.

Pop Art Pink is a lovely light jelly pink, that is suitable for french manicures if worn with one coat. But the color is buildable and with three coats it’s opaque. I really like this one.

Lilacism is a light lilac creme. It’s a wonderful color! I love it! The application isn’t complicated. The picture shows two coats.

There has been a lot of pastel purples lately. That’s why I compared some bottles with Lilacism. I don’t have any dupes in my stash …

Tart Deco is a creme light salmon color, which is an odd color. It dries darker on the nail than it is in the bottle. I can’t decide if I like it or not. There are two coats shown in the picture below. I included a comparison with the Essence – What Do U Think? from the Colour & Go line.

The funny thing about the Tart Deco is that it changes color, when you add a top coat. It shifts to orange. Unfortunately I don’t have a picture to prove it (yet).

And last but not least Red Nouveau. Another color for which I can’t decide whether I like it or not. I mean, you all know by now, that I’m really not into reds, but some are great even for me. There’s definitely one awesome thing about Red Nouveau and that’s the application. It’s very pigmented and it applies like a dream. And I mean it! Awesome! There is only one coat in the picture below. :w00t: The color alone is what’s bothering me … I can’t even tell, what’s bothering me. I know, I’m weird. :blush:

And because you said more artistic photos. I have nothing new … old composition, new colors.

Make up is made with Sweetscents eyeshadows (Passion, Envy, Carbon). They have really great eyeshadows!

I would like to add a few words at the end about Essie’s collection. I think it’s a good collection. The formula on these is mostly great. The shades are very fresh and they scream spring to me. I like it!

Končno imam za vas pomladno kolekcijo znamke Essie . Pravijo, da je bolje pozno kot nikoli, kajne? Kolekcija se imenuje Art Of Spring.

Od šestih odtenkov, kolikor jih je v celotni kolekciji, vam jih bom danes predstavila štiri.

Pop Art Pink je odtenek, ki me je presenetil. V steklenički deluje prosojno. Po prvem nanosu dejansko tudi je prosojen (a nič progast) in primeren za francosko manikuro. Po dveh nanosih je srednje prosojen …

Zgoraj: 2 plasti.

… po treh plasteh je popolnoma prekriven. Vsaj na mojih nohtih.

Zgoraj: 3 plasti.

Lilacism je krem nežno vijoličen odtenek. V živo je nekoliko bolj rdečkast in ne tako zelo moder, čeprav ima vseeno kar precej modre v sebi. Odtenek je čudovit! Nanos ni težaven. Na fotografiji sta dve plasti.

Zadnje čase je v obtoku ogromno pastelnih in nežno vijoličnih odtenkov. Naredila sem primerjavo stekleničk nekaterih odtenkov iz moje zbirke. Med njimi ni dvojčkov.

Tart Deco je krem svetla barva lososa. Barva je temnejša na nohtu kot v steklenički. Sploh ne vem, ali mi je všeč ali ne. Na fotografiji spodaj je primerjava z odtenkom Essence – What Do U Think? iz Colour & Go linije. Pri nanosu nisem imela težav. Na fotografiji sta dve plasti.

Smešno je, da je Tart Deco spremenil barvo, ko sem mu dodala nadlak. Postal je bolj oranžen. Žal pa (še) nimam fotografije, ki bi to dokazala.

Še zadnji … Red Nouveau. Krem rdeč odtenek. Spet en odtenek, za katerega se ne morem odločiti, ali mi je všeč ali ne. Do zdaj verjetno že vsi veste, da me “rdečkoti” ne ganejo preveč, a tu in tam se najde kakšen, ki mi je zelo všeč. Tale sigurno ni med njimi. Sploh ne vem, kaj me moti na njem. :hmm: Sigurno pa ima ta odtenek vsaj eno fenomenalno lastnost. In to je nanos. Lak je zelo pigmentiran in konsistenca je ravno prava v vseh pogledih. Lak se nanaša praktično sam. :thumb: Na fotografiji je le en nanos!

In samo zato, ker ste si nekateri zaželeli več artističnih fotografij … nič novega … stara kompozicija, nove barve …

MMU je narejen s pomočjo Sweetscent senčil (Passion, Envy, Carbon).

Za konec bi rada napisala še nekaj besed o Art Of Spring kolekciji. Barve so sveže in zelo primerne za pomlad, prav tako so zelo modne. Nanos je večinoma enostaven. To je to. Všeč mi je!
