After a month of delay Essence We Saw It First (WSIF) TE finally reached our drugstores. :w00t:
If I understand Essence correctly – then this collection is preview of new products that will reach our stores this fall as part of the regular line.
Our kind Saša managed to find all four polishes and matte top coat for me. :rose:
What Do You Think? is interesting mix of peachy and coral shades with added gold shimmer. Application strongly resembles that of the pastel shades, so it’s a little bit more demanding.
Shimmer is almost invisible on the nails. You need really strong light to be able to spot it, that is why I used detail from the bottle.
Take a look what do you get if you add top coat over What Do You Think?:
Lime Up! is totally Shrek color. Yellow green shades are not my favorites, so I don’t imagine I’ll ever wear this polish again. :silly: Application was very similar to that of What Do You Think? shade.

I made comparison between Essie Matte About You and Essence Matte Top Coat. Effect is almost identical, I just hope that those nasty white dots will stay away from Essence matte top coat.
My favorite from WSIF collection is Movie star. Darker gray color with creme finish looks really lovely. Application was also great.
And mattified with Essence Matte Top Coat.
Darkest shade in this collection is named Absolutely Stylish – dark brown color with green (almost turquoise) and pinkish shimmer. Application was OK.

“Must have” from WSIF are for me Matte Top Coat and Movie Stare, others I could live without. :silly:
Price for 8ml of matte top coat is 1,89 EUR and 1,49 EUR for 5ml of Colour&Go shades.
Now I’m anxiously waiting if I’ll manage to get my hands on Denim Wanted! TE. Now those polishes I really want! :nervous:

Če sem prav razumela, naj bi kolekcijo sestavljali izdelki, ki bodo prišli v jesenskih mesecih v redno prodajo.
Prijazna Saša mi je priskrbela vse štiri lake in mat nadlak. :rose:
What Do You Think? je zanimiva mešanica breskovo koralnega odtenka in zlatega šimra. Nanos je le za spoznanje boljši kot pri pastelnih odtenkih, tako da mi ni preveč všeč. Je potrebno imeti kar precej laka na čopiču za kolikor toliko enakomeren nanos, kar pa se hitro konča z razlivanjem laka po obnohtni kožici.
Šimer je na nohtu viden le ob zelo močni svetlobi (pa še to dokaj slabo), zato sem uporabila detajl s stekleničke.
Zanimivost tega odtenka je, da reagira z nadlakom in spremeni barvo. :nails:
Lime Up! je čisto shrekast odtenek. Rumeno zeleni odtenki mi niso preveč pri srcu, tako da dvomim, da bom še kdaj uporabila tega malčka. Nanos je bil tako težaven kot pri What Do You Think? odtenku.

In še primerjava Essie Matte About You nadlaka z Essence Matte Top Coat nadlakom. Efekt je zelo podoben. Upam, da se pri Essence mat nadlaku s časoma ne bodo pojavile bele pikice.
Moj favorit iz WSIF kolekcije je Movie star sivko. Temnejša prava siva barva s krem finišem je enostavno prekrasen odtenek. Nanos je bil neproblematičen.
Še matiran Movie Star z Essence Matte Top Coat nadlakom.
Najtemnejši odtenek v kolekciji je Absolutely Stylish – temno rjav odtenek, ki so ga pri Essence popestrili z zelenim (včasih že skoraj turkiznim) in roza šimrom. Nanos je bil neproblematičen.

“Must have” iz WSIF kolekcije sta po mojem mnenju le mat nadlak in Movie Star.

Čudoviti so vsi! Pravo presenečenje je mat nadlak. Med barvnimi pa je zame zmagovalec Shrek … seveda. :biggrin:

Jako mi se sviđaju Lime up! i Movie Star :wub: Tko zna kad će ta kolekcija doći kod nas (ako uopće i dođe). Matt Top Coat super izgleda. Ja imam Alessandrov i isto je odličan, ne ostavlja mjehuriće i fino matira, ali voljela bih isprobati i ovaj :yes: Hvala za swatcheve :wink:
Svi lakovi, će biti dio redne linije … bar tako Essence kaže. :thumb:

Hm, they changed the colour of “What do u think?” a bit. In March, when it was released first, it was without shimmer and a bit darker. I’m very impressed of the matte top coat, I like it a lot!
Is there a similar grey tone to “Movie Star”? It looks so similar to maybe Catrice’s “London’s Weather Forecast” or Essence Sufer Babe “Point Break”.
In Austria the Denim Wanted-Collection is now available at Müller. In dm approximately next week.
I hope our DMs get it soon. I want dark blue shade. :wub:

kako sam ljubomorna! 150 km južnije i jedna granica koja nas dijeli i nama još ne dođe kolekcija! no, predomislila sam se, nabavit ću je cijelu!

Mene pa zanima primerjava sivkota s Catrice Londons weather forecast. Danes sem ga imela gor in sem stala pred stojalom pol ure in ga primerjala s stekleničko… :whistle: enostavno sta se mi zdela zelo podobna, takšnih 2 pa res ne rabim (čeprav mi je super barva!) in ga potem nisem vzela. A se samo meni zdi, da sta si malo v sorodu? :blush:

Aaah i want the matt topcoat so bad ! But this TE isn’t availble in Belgium :angry: Although i’ve read somewhere that the topcoat will be released in the regular line as well ? I hope so ! :undecided:

Imam pa eno prošnjo/vprašanje: a bo kdaj mobile varianta parokeets? V Nokiinem brskalniku mi prikaže stran samo na pol, v Operi mobile pa se vse prekriva. Zato bi bilo kaj takega res dobrodošlo.
Bomo pogledale kaj se da narediti. :yes:
HTC in Samsung normalno prikažeta stran, tako da niti nismo vedele, da so pri Nokii težave. Hvala za obvestilo. :rose:
