I have to admit that Avon releases some very nice shades of nail polish from time to time. Last September I was impressed by their greens. Pink Radiance is a pink foil. It’s highly pigmented. It’s a one coater if you apply it carefully. I don’t think it’s unique or anything. It’s nice anyway.
Night Violet has a misleading name if you ask me. I wouldn’t describe it as violet at all. It’s hard to describe, but definitely not violet. It’s more of a brown purple. Or something like that. The pigmentation is OK, but it’s a two coater.
Splendid Blue is a wonderful blue with a lot going on. In the bottle I see silver and purple sparkles. The purple isn’t visible on the nails. And the silver particles look green or even turquoise on the nails. I tried to capture its beauty but still it looks much prettier IRL. It’s a very nice polish and I don’t think I have anything like it. It’s very pigmented and it’s another one coater if you apply it carefully enough.
My favourite of the bunch is Splendid Blue. What about you? Which one is your favourite?
Priznati moram, da se od časa do časa tudi pri Avon-u najde kaj zanimivega. Mislim predvsem na lake za nohte. Na zadnje so me navduševali zeleni odtenki. Pink Radiance je roza odtenek s folijastim finišem. Lak je zelo dobro pigmentiran. Če ste pri nanosu previdni, zadostuje za polno prekrivnost že en nanos. Odtenek sicer ni čisto nič posebnega.
Night Violet ima zavajajoče ime, če mene vprašate. Sama odtenka ne bi opisala z besedo “vijolična”. Odtenek je zanimiv in ni enostaven za opisati, ampak prav vijoličen pa zagotovo ni. Na prvi pogled je rjav z nekaj vijolične v sebi.
Splendid Blue je čudovit moder odtenek s šimrom. V steklenički šimer izgleda srebrn in vijoličen, ko pa lak nanesem, vijolične ni več opaziti, srebrn šimer pa izgleda “le še” modro-zelen. Zelo poseben odtenek. Če se ne motim, v moji zbirki ni podobnega.
Iz današnjega kupčka mi je najbolj všeč Splendid Blue. Kaj pa vam? Kateri je vaš favorit?

Imam Pink Radience nekih mjesec dana i na noktima sam ga imala ravno 3 minute! Činio mi se predivan u katalogu, ali na mojim noktima mi se nikako ne sviđa!

I’m liking the “Night Violet”. It’s very interesting color, I’d love to try it out, too. Maybe I should give Avon a go at some point. :)
Avon nail polishes have a great range of colours :thumb: , but unfortunately they are not lasting :bljak:
