Dear friend just came from Germany and brought me all four polishes and eyeliner palette from Essence Whoom! Boooom!!! TE. :rose:

Essence decided to give us fresh/spring colors in their “pop art” collection.

The lightest shade is You’ve Got The Art. Pastel yellow shade with green tones. This shade can be more greenish or yellowish – depending on light source. Application was not easy, but two coats were enough for decent look.

Orange shade is called Andy, You’re A Star. Very interesting shade that can be very lively or almost pastel like orange. I only managed to capture lively orange on the photo and to do that I had to wait until the next day for sun to come up. :biggrin: Application was easier than with You’ve Got The Art polish.

Roy’s Red is berry shade … I guess. I looks deep pink most of the time but it does lean on the red side every once in a while.

The blurple in the Whoom! Boooom!!! TE is called Chacalaca. Application was easy, one coat is enough for full opacity. I was sure this shade will look awful on me, but I was glad to see that I was wrong.  :silly: This shade had more than one side too – it can be blue, purple, blue-purple …

All polishes have creme finish and in each and every one I hated the soft and bushy brush … I had really hard time controlling  it. :hmm:

Each 8 ml polish costs 1,79 EUR.

Whoom! Boooom!!! TE had another interesting product for me – creme eyeliner palette – Kawoom. Cardboard box with magnetic closure contains four colors and a brush. I don’t think this kind of packaging will keep eyeliners from drying out in record time, but let us hope that I’m wrong, since colors look really nice.

I do not like the brush at all, but I did the swatches on the right side of the photo with it … the best I could do. It lacks firmness to be really good eyeliner brush.

I like the colors in this palette … even though the lightest eyeliner looks almost invisible on me. Green shade is my favorite – I love the gold shimmer in green base. :wub: Blues is not really my color and darker gray shade has too much shimmer in it but I can see using both of them from time to time. I intended to use this palette as my secondary base, but since darker colors leave color stain on my skin I’ll stick with original usage.

I had some extra time so I did a quick test on my eyes – eyeliners started to fade after couple of hours, green and blue had best staying power, but the green one irritated my eyes.  :ermm:

Prijateljica je v Nemčiji naletela na Essence Whoom! Boooom!!! TE in mi prijazno kupila vse štiri lakce ter paletko eyelinerjev. :rose:

V “stripovski” kolekciji so se pri Essence odločili za živahne/spomladanske barve.

Najsvetlejši odtenek je You’ve Got The Art. Gre za pastelno rumen lak, ki potegne rahlo na zeleno stran. Odvisno od tipa svetlobe je zelen podton bolj ali manj viden. Nanos ni enostaven, vendar z malo truda 2 plasti zadoščata za dokaj lep izgled.

Oranžni odtenek v kolekciji sliši na ime Andy, You’re A Star. Zelo zanimiv lak, ki je ima lahko zelo živ, pastelen občasno pa tudi peachy oranžen ton … Edini, ki sem ga uspela ujeti na fotografiji je živo oranžen odtenek. Pa še to sem morala počakati na naslednji da, da sem ga lahko fotografirala na soncu. :biggrin: Nanos je bil lažji kot pri You’ve Got The Art laku.

Roy’s Red je pogojno berry odtenek, ker občasno potegne tudi na rdečkasto pink barvo. Večino časa lak izgleda namreč roza.

Zadnji lak v kolekciji je pravi blurple in sliši na ime Chacalaca. Nanos je bil zelo enostaven, za popolno prekrivnost je zadosti že ena plast. Glede na to, da prevladujejo hladni toni, sem bila prepričana, da bo izgledal katastrofalno na meni … na srečo sem se zmotila. :silly: Tudi ta lak ima več obrazov – modrega, modro/vijola, temo vijola …

Vsi laki imajo krem finiš.

Pri čisto vseh lakih mi je kravžljal živce prekošat in premehek čopič, ki sem ga zelo težko nadzorovala. :hmm:

Cena za posamezni lak (8 ml) je 1,79 EUR.

V Whoom! Boooom!!! TE me je pritegnila še paletka kremnih eyelinerjev – Kawoom. V kartonski embalaži z magnetnim zapiranjem se nahajajo štirje eyelinerji ter čopič. Glede na to, da tak tip embalaže zelo slabo tesni, upam da se linerji ne bodo posušili rekordno hitro. :unsure:

Priloženi čopič mi ni niti najmanj všeč, vendar sem vseeno naredila swatche z njim (na desni strani), da vidite kako se obnese. Meni je čisto premehek za kontroliran nanos.

Izbrane barve so luštne … čeprav je svetla skoraj identične barve kot moja koža, tako da je skoraj neviden. :biggrin: Še najbolj mi je všeč zelen odtenek, ki me je očaral s prekrasnim drobnim zlatim šimrom. :wub: Modra ni ravno moja barva, temno siv pa je malo preveč bleščičast za moj okus. Namerala sem jih sicer uporabljati predvsem kot bazo za senčila, vendar pa temnejši trije odtenki zabarvajo kožo in se posledično zelo težko odstranijo, tako da bom očitno ostala pri originalni uporabi.

Zelo na hitro sem stestirala linerje na očeh – na mojih mastnih vekah so po parih uricah začeli bledeli, zeleni in modri sta bila še najbolj obstojna s tem, da mi zeleni iritira oči. :ermm:
