Let’s see if Essence Breaking Dawn trend edition products are as good as on preview photos. :silly:
Today I have for you swatches of all 4 nail polishes and two liquid eyeliners.

As expected blue and purple nail polishes are my darlings. Together with black one they come in similar formula – quite thick and loaded with lots of tiny flake glitter. I had to apply all of them in two thicker coats and then apply 2 coats of top coat to get the shine I wanted. They look seriously pretty, but drying time was not as fast as I’m used to.

Essence Jacob’s Protection is the most complex and “have to have” nail polish in my book. Base is darker blue and sparkles from within in blue, purple, green tones. :love:

Close behind is Essence Alice Had A Vision – Again. Another dark shade with multicolored/duochrome flakies, but this time suspended in dark purple base.
Both nail polishes are almost vampy shades but with a serious punch.

I’m guessing someone on Essence creative team is on Jacob’s team as Jacob’s Protection is way prettier than Edward’s Love. :biggrin:
Almost black base with loads of primarily silver flakies but green and pink shimmer is also there. Now if they added holo flakies I would be floored by this nail polish, this way it’s OK, but nothing spectacular.

Essence A Piece Of Forever didn’t look appealing on promotional photographs and I did not fall in love with it in real life either. It’s gold, streaky and well … yellow gold. :silly: But it has one major selling point – it’s GREAT for stamping (I used one of the new Essence image plates). :thumb:

Liquid eyeliners fulfill the promise of thin brush. I had no real trouble applying them and as they have sheer base I guess that is given. :biggrin: Each one is loaded with shimmery/glittery particles that give really nice shine, but I would still prefer if the base matched the color of the glitter as I’m one of the lazy ones (I first apply colored eyeliner and they shimmery one). :cute: I wore them for few hours and in that time they did not budge, but were easy to remove with my micellar solution. I used 2 layers on swatch.

– glitter eyeliner: ~2,50 EUR for 4ml (0.13 fl.oz.)

I still have pigments and blush on my WL … will see how they look in reality and then buy few more goodies. :angel:

Danes imam za vas swatche vseh štirih lakov ter dveh bleščičastih tekočih črtal za oči.

Po pričakovanju sta moja ljubljenčka vijola in moder lak za nohte. Skupaj s črnim odtenkom imajo zelo podobno formulo – gostejša in nabita z bleščicami. Meni je najlažje, če take lake nanašam v dveh debelejših plasteh, dodala pa sem še 2 plasti nadlaka, da sem dosegla želeni sijaj.

Essence Jacob’s Protection ima najbolj kompleksno formulo in je definitivno obvezen dodatek moji zbirki. Baza je temno modra, v njej se pa kar drenja množica modrih, vijoličnih, zelenih bleščic. :love:

Essence Alice Had A Vision – Again je z lepoto in kompleksnostjo zelo blizu za modrim lepotcem. Tudi ta odtenek ima temnejšo osnovo, le da je ta tokrat vijolična. Tudi v tem laku se nahaja zelo veliko mini krpic, ki se bleščijo v zelenih, vijoličnih, modrih … tonih. Oba laka spadata že skoraj v “vampy” kategorijo.

Ugibam, da nekdo v Essence kreativnem oddelku navija za Jacoba … Jacob’s Protection je namreč veliko lepši odtenek kot Edward’s Love. :biggrin:
Skoraj popolnoma črna osnova ima veliko srebrnih bleščic, vendar pa se vmes najdejo tudi zelene, roza … Če bi dodali holo krpice, bi bil lak spektakularen, tako je pa le OK. .

Essence A Piece Of Forever me ni pritegnil ne na promocijskih fotografijah ne v živo. Rumeno zlat odtenek me že barvno ne prepriča, potem pa za nameček pušča še vidne proge čopiča. Ima pa en zelo velik plus pri meni – je namreč krasen za konadiranje (vzorec je z ene izmed novih Essence šablon). :thumb:

Tekoča črtala za oči imajo kot obljubljeno tanek čopič. Nisem imela nekih težav pri nanosu, kar je nekako logično glede na to, da je baza prozorna. :biggrin: Obe črtali vsebujeta veliko šimra/bleščic, ki dajeta barvo izdelku. Osebno bi raje videla, da bi imela črtala barvno bazo, ker me rahlo daje lenoba in se mi ponavadi ne da najprej nanesti barvnega linerja in ga nato slojiti z bleščičastim. :cute: Po nekaj urah sta bila obi črtali še vedno na mestu, odstranjevanje z micelno vodico je bilo zelo enostavno. Za swatch sem uporabila 2 plasti.

– tekoče črtalo: ~2,50 EUR za 4ml (rok trajanja – 6 mesecev po odprtju)

Na seznamu želja imam še pigmente in rdečilo … če mi bodo tudi v živo všeč, bo zagotovo še nekaj Essence Breaking Dawn dobrot pristalo v mojem varstvu. :angel:
