Alessandro It Girl LE already hit the stores. :happy: Today I have for you four shades – I received 2 for review from our Alessandro importer (Dancing Queen, Pretty Ballerina) and bought other 2. Well – Maestra bought them for me since I was really sick at the time. And on top of it, she also made swatches of the shades she bought. :rose:
Let’s begin with Dancing Queen – polish with lovely name and shade. :silly: This is not really a taupe shade, since it leans too much to violet side. But is has a lot of tiny shimmer that casts grayish coat in bright light so the polish looks brownish-grayish-violet.
I was still sick while making these swatches, so I was unable to capture shimmer detail on the nails … to much coughing, sneezing … That’s why I photographed shimmer in the bottle.
We’re having really lousy weather, so I had to take outside photo of Dancing Queen in cloudy/gray surrounding. In real life color is a little more violet than on the photo, but let’s say that you see the difference. :angel:
Pretty Ballerina is a little too candy pink for my taste. I will refrain from classifying this shade as creme finish, since I saw some shine/sparkle in couple of photos and I’m not sure whether I saw shimmer or just reflection. I’ll have to wait for sun to make sure it is really a creme shade.
I think Alessandro Crash Coat polish goes lovely with this shade. OK, OK – maybe I exaggerated with thickness of crash coat. :blush:
Application? I noticed that I had to shake both polishes to achieve good viscosity. And no bubbles appeared. But if I did not shake the bottle I had bold spots in the mani and the polishes were kind of watery. The only other Alessandro polish I had the same experience with, is Crash Coat … and I have quite a few minis since I adore them and Alessandro minis are my favorite ones. I wont say this is a problem since it’s not, but it is something you should be aware of, since it would be really easy to put both shades in streaky category … and they’re not.
I asked Maestra to pick up for me two other shades from this collection – On Tour and Cheeky Devil (what can I say – another shade with cute name :biggrin: ). I’m also tempted by beige shade, but I have to see that one in real life before I decide whether I’ll buy it or not … if I manage to find one that is. :silly:
5ml mini polish costs 5 EUR (little less than 7 USD).
Maestra took photos and wrote review for On Tour and Cheeky Devil shades.
On Tour is pretty creme violet shade, that turned out too blue in all the photos I took. So I “helped” it out a little bit and “made” color more realistic. No problems with application. I used two layers.
Quick comparison of few violet shades in my collection. They’re all too blue on the photo, but you can still see which ones look alike and which ones do not.
Cheeky Devil is perfect spring shade. It looks really fresh. But even-though I love the shade it does not compliment my skin tone. Application was a little bit streaky but that is quite normal for those kind of shades. Two layers were enough to tame it.
I can hardly wait to test “Maestra’s” shades. Especially Cheeky Devil looks like something that would look nice on me. :wub:

Alessandro It Girl LE je že na naših policah. :happy: Za vas imam štiri odtenke iz omenjene kolekcije – 2 sem prejela od slovenskega uvoznika (Dancing Queen, Pretty Ballerina), 2 sem pa kupila sama. Oz. je bila naša prijazna Maestra vmesni člen, ker jaz zaradi bolezni nisem mogla nikamor in za povrh vsega, je naredila še swatche obeh odtenkov + primerjavo. :rose:
Začnimo pri Dancing Queen, ki mi piha na dušo tako zaradi barve kot imena. :silly: Ne bi mogla reči, da gre za taupe odtenek, ker preveč vleče na vijolično stran. Vendar pa ima veliko zelo drobnega šimra, ki ob direktni svetlobi ustvari sivkasto prevleko in posledično lak vizualno zelo povleče na rjavo-sivo-vijola stran.
Na niti eni fotografiji mi ni uspelo lepo ujeti šimra na nohtih, tako da vam prilagam ogromno fotko stekleničke. Ko sem fotografirala tole kolekcijo, sem bila namreč še precej bolna, tako da sem si lakirala nohte med kašljanjem, kihanjem … In fotografirala seveda v istem stanju, zato je bila večina fotografij enostavno preveč “zmiganih”, da bi lahko realno pokazala šimer.
Vreme je res nikakršno, tako da sem na koncu obupala in fotografirala Dancing Queen kar v izredno oblačnem vremenu. Barva je v resnici malo bolj vijola, ampak recimo, da je razlika vidna. :angel:
Pretty Ballerina je za moj okus malo preveč bonbončkasto roza. Ne bom dala roke v ogenj, da gre za krem odtenek, ker sem na nekaterih fotografijah opazila neko lesketanje v steklenički, na nohtih pa ni ne duha ne sluh o kakem šimru. Moram počakati na sočno vreme, da preverim, če ima res kak droben šimer, ali pa je šlo na fotografijah le za odsev.
K takem odtenku se meni zelo prileže Alessandro Crash Coat lakec. OK, OK – mogoče sem malo pretiravala z debelino nanosa. :blush:
Nanos? Pri obeh odtenkih sem opazila, da je potrebno stekleničko pred uporabo dobro pretresti. V tem primeru zadostujeta 2 nanosa (na fotografijah sem dodala še nadlak). Zanimivo je, da se kljub močnem tresenju niso pojavili mehurčki, brez da bi laka pretresla, pa se ju ni dalo res lepo nanesti. To sem do sedaj opazila samo pri Crash Coatu in pri nobenem drugem Alessandro miniju … pa jih imam kar nekaj glede na to, da so to moji naj, naj mini lakci. Ne gre ravno za težavo, vendar je to nekaj kar je fajn vedeti pred nanosom, če ne bi lahko hitro kvalificirali oba odtenka kot “streaky” … v resnici pa to sploh nista.
Maestro sem prosila, če mi lahko kupi še On Tour in Cheeky Devil (kaj naj rečem – še eden z meni všečnim imenom :biggrin: ). Mika me še svetlo bež odtenek, vendar pa moram tistega preveriti v živo, če je res tak kakor si ga predstavljam … in če ga še kje najdem. :silly:
Cena za 5ml minija je 5 EUR.
Maestra je fotografirala in opisala On Tour in Cheeky Devil odtenka.
On Tour je lep krem vijoličen odtenek, ki na vseh fotografijah izpade preveč moder, zato sem mu malo “pomagala” in barvo “naredila” bolj realno. Pri nanašanju nisem imela težav. Na fotografiji sta dve plasti.
Še hitra primerjava vijolkotov. Skoraj vsi odtenki izgledajo preveč modri, a se vidi, kateri so si/niso podobni.
Cheeky Devil je perfekten odtenek za pomlad. Deluje zelo sveže. Čeprav mi je odtenek zelo všeč, ne gre k moji polti. Nanos je bil malenkost težaven (streaky, progast) in pravzaprav zelo tipičen za takšne odtenke. V dveh plasteh se ga je dalo “ukrotiti”.
Komaj čakam, da stestiram še “Maestrina” odtenka. Sploh Cheeky Devil bi znal lepo sodelovati z mojo poltjo. :wub:

I love the matte look of crack polish. It fells kind of funny but I still do not use top coat over it. :biggrin:

Res so lepi, ampak cena je pa prehuda. :shock:
Cena ni ugodna, ampak kaj, ko obožujem njihove minije. :blush:
Od teh mi nobeden ne pade kaj dosti v oči, razen morda On Tour, pa še ta je mičkeno prenežne barve. Sem pa videla na stojalcu res lep odtenek v modri barvi spominčic. Me je kar zamikal, ampak res se moram nazaj držati z laki nekaj časa. Sicer pa super swatchi! Upam, da boš kmalu bolje! :rose:
Hm – On Tour je edini v tej kolekciji, ki vleče na modro.

Res? Uh, potem pa še dobro, da ga nisem kupila, predstavljala sem si ga namreč v barvi spominčic, ko sem gledala stekleničko! Ne vem kako sem prišla do tega, heh. Me veseli, da si že bolje!

Ja :), samo ponavadi ko ve objavite te swatche naslednji dan teh lakcev v trgovinah skoraj ni več za dobit – povzročite pravi naval :). Imam včasih občutek da bi morala vaše prispevke v supergah brat in takoj ko jih objavite šibat v nakup :biggrin:
