Review and swatches: Alessandro Born To Be Wild LEOpis in ocena: Alessandro Born To Be Wild LE

I received two Alessandro Born To Be Wild minis at the same time I got the news that I had exam in few days. :scared: I guess I don’t have to tell you that I dropped everything and studied, studied, studied … Keep your fingers crossed that I passed. :nervous:

It was really relaxing to put my mind in off position and play with Alessandro Sweet Poison and Wild Angel. :nails:

Alessandro Sweet Poison is unfortunately not as greenish as it looked like in promo photos. It is darker blue shade on the grayish side with slightly green undertone. What I absolutely loved about this polish is its easy to apply one coater formula. :thumb:
I used two coats + top coat.

This shade reminded me of Stone Washed shade from Denim Wanted LE. Even though they’re not dupes, they are close relatives. But my camera simply ignores different hues of blue polishes, so swatch comparison  is pointless when I don’t have an hour to correct the photo with photo editing software. :angry: Sweet Poison is lighter shade and has greenish undertone. Maybe you can spot the difference in bottle comparison photos (good imagination recommended). I simply love the fact that new Alessandro minis now have the same bottles as their bigger siblings. :love:

Alessandro Wild Angel has beige base and lots of yellowish green tiny flakies (with few copper ones thrown in the mix). It can be used by itself, but you’ll need 3 coats to make it look like this …

But look at the flakies. :w00t:

I prefer this polish layered over more opaque base. I experimented a little bit and used as a base: Sunshine Reggae, Spacey Grey and Sweet Poison.

I like the combos with lighter polishes more, as I find Wild Angel still to opaque to layer over the darker colors.

Držite pesti, da sem uspešno opravila izpit. :nervous:

Po nekaj dneh neprestanega stresa, je bilo prav prijetno odklopiti možgane in se poigrati z Alessandro Sweet Poison in Wild Angel lakcema. :nails:

Alessandro Sweet Poison na žalost nima tako izrazitega zelenega tona kot na promo fotografijah. Gre za temnejši moder odtenek s sivkastim podtonom ter dodane nekaj malega zelene barve. Ima pa lak prekrasno formulo – maže se kot puterček in popolnoma prekrije z že eno plastjo. :thumb:
Uporabila sem 2 plasti + nadlak.

Sweet Poison me je spomnil na Stone Washed odtenek iz Denim Wanted LE. Čeprav ne gre za identična odtenka, sta bližnja sorodnika. Na žalost moj fotoaparat ne zazna preveč dobro različnih modrih odtenkov, tako da so swatchi nesmiselni, če nimam ravno ekstra ure prostega časa, da obdelam fotografije s programom za obdelavo fotografij.  :hmm: Sweet Poison je svetlejši in ima zelen podton. Če imate dobro domišljijo, lahko vidite razliko na spodnji fotografiji. :biggrin: Sem pa čisto navdušena nad dejstvom, da imajo miniji sedaj enako embalažo kot njihovi veliki bratci. :love:

Alessandro Wild Angel ima bežkasto osnovo in veliko drobcenih rumenkasto zelenkastih krpic (tudi kakšna bakrena se najde). Gre za precej prosojen lak, tako da so potrebne tri plasti, da dobite tole …

Mi je pa Wild Angel načeloma bolj všeč slojen čez bolj prekrivne lake. Za bazo sem uporabila: Sunshine Reggae, Spacey Grey in Sweet Poison.

Osebno so mi boljše kombinacije s svetlejšo bazo, ker je Wild Angel preveč prekriven, da bi efekt lepo izpadel na temnejši barvi (ni enakomeren videz).
